Diversity? Yes. Equity? No. Identity politics is divisive and anti American. There will always be inequity in everything we do. It is especially corrosive in the military. Many, many institutions are doing away with their DEI programs because it drives division. UNC ended their DEI efforts.
Okay
So you woukd be happy with UNC being mostly white
Got it

Missing the point completely. Has nothing to do with trump. Trump is just the vehicle. People are happy the border is going to be secured. People are happy the cancer of DEI is being removed. People are happy wokeness is being purged from the military.
im as indy as it gets and im happy for those things to happen, BUT Trump aint gonna do any of those things. hes just runs that big con idiotic mouth to give you trumpsters a hard on...it works to perfection. im still waiting to hear about his great and beautiful healthcare plan that has been "in the works" for almost a decade. you sheep dont care....you just hate the other side more than you hate his lies and bullshit.

No one is saying that UNC should be mostly white. Blacks, Asians, Hispanics et al, are perfectly capable of succeeding at UNC (and elsewhere) without the heavy hand of DEI. UNC already pushing 70% female.

This is a bald faced lie. People ADORE Donald Trump. It's ALL Trump. He could declare that the borders were open tomorrow via executive order and every single person with a Trump flag in their yard would cheer it on. I don't know what it takes for you to recognize a cult but I do know that you're entirely blind to it with Donald Trump.

Isn’t this what’s happening with TikTok? Trump didn’t like it so the Pubs wanted to ban it. Then when it was banned, Trump said he could reopen it, so now it’s fine.

Succeding yes
Entrance-no way without Aff Action etc.
Of course conservatives won't say that they want schools like UNC to be mostly white and male, but that's what they would privately almost certainly prefer. And the early statistics seem to show that when you don't promote diversity in schools, what you get is less diversity. Shocking, I know. The article linked below gives the data:

"Enrollment of Black and Hispanic students in medical schools dropped precipitously last year after the Supreme Court banned the consideration of race in admissions, according to data released Thursday by the Association of American Medical Colleges.

The number of Black enrollees fell by 11.6% compared to last year, while the number of Hispanic enrollees decreased 10.8%. The numbers were even starker for Indigenous students; the number of American Indian or Alaska Natives dropped by 22.1%, while students who were Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islanders dropped by 4.3%...The new numbers reflect the first medical school class that was selected since the court’s decision and seem to validate the concerns of those who feared the June 2023 decision would lead to less diverse medical school classes and ultimately a less diverse medical workforce, harming efforts to end the country’s deeply rooted racial health disparities."

What's the knock-on effect? Those communities get measurably worse care.
