Wonder how those people would feel if Obama had sent hundreds of militarized masked DEA officers, most of them black or Latino, to Shelby or Lenoir or Asheboro to stop any white people they see and search them for meth or fentanyl. If they aren't carrying illegal drugs, they have nothing to worry about. Right?
 
ICE was at my job site yesterday. They are looking for certain people and not any and every one. They had pictures of the individuals they were looking for. Hell they have only detained like 1600 people so far.

That may be true in n certain specific cases. No doubt they are looking for people with criminal convictions and those with deportation orders. But it is not at all true in many cases.

And I'd suggest that you have a broader context of those whom I am unpleasant to. You just arrived at the party and you think it's noble to shit on the people who are pissed off at those who have been trashing the place before you arrived.

Guy is a good speaker and not a bad message although I'm sure people will ding him for flubbng the gas mask and machine guns. Can't believe that ICE officer was breaking an SUV window with his gun pointing out the lady. That could have gone so wrong.

I wonder why he was waving a twizzler around the whole time. Is that his trademark?

Any criticism from you is a badge of honor. Rest assured of that. The person I addressed on an almost daily basis insults numerous posters on the board, tells them to go pop pills, demeans anyone who has a passionate belief one way or another about an issue. I have no problem being an asshole to that person. If someone is going to judge me based on that interaction, I welcome the judgement. It's also just about the first time I have ever responded to his nonsense because I make a general point of ignoring it.

The point isn't that they are looking for "any and every one." The point is that they are arresting and detaining many, many people who are here legally and/or have no criminal background, as well as causing needless pain and suffering for many individuals and families. I have no idea where your 1600 figure comes from, but even if it's just for North Carolina, it lacks context. Having pictures of certain individuals doesn't mean the agents even had the right people or reasonable cause to believe that they did anything illegally.
