… Melvin Earl Villaver Jr, an assistant professor of audio technology and global black studies in Clemson’s Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, is understood to have shared a variety of posts ridiculing Kirk’s assassination.

“Worried about DEI and DIED instead,” one now-deleted post reportedly read, with another adding: “Charlie Kirk recently said to a Palestinian that there’s no such thing as Palestinians. Well now look… there’s no longer such a thing called Charlie Kirk.” …”

.., Clemson has since said in a statement it “unequivocally condemns any and all expressions that endorse, glorify or celebrate political violence.” While the college did not directly address any of the posts Villaver is understood to have written, Republican State Representative Thomas Beach claims the university has not yet taken action against either him, or any other members of staff who may have made negative comments about Kirk in recent days.

As someone who has served on a college board of trustees, I can tell you that it is not the trustees’ job to weigh in on whether teachers at the school get hired or fired.
 
Related to this topic, our kids go to a private Christian school here in Wilmington. Our 7th grader told us that multiple teachers opined about what a good Christian Kirk was and even their head of school addressed it in a quasi eulogy. So yes, evangelicals are making him a martyr.

I guess the democrats copied the theme and you are either to uninformed to own it or to hypocritical. Only a dishonest person would try to deny it or attempt to quantify which side is worse because it has been bad since trump 1.0.

Posting diarrhea that even remotely considers that living in the same house as a trans person or dating a trans persons is in anyway relevant to a murder is fucked up. you’re giving weight to his incredibly stupid and offensive effort to deflect blame. You post a lot of great information but need an editor.

I've read so many post these last few days stating that we are different because there were riots and protest after the Floyd murder but only prayers after the Kirk murder. It takes some real cognitive dissonance to make that statement considering Jan 6th and the threats/promises of civil war because of the Kirk murder.

Interesting how on Jan 7th basically everyone was unhappy with what happened, it took a concerted effort and a 4 year campaign to change the narrative.

It didn’t take 4 years for people who weren’t brainwashed by their media and pelosi. Again, there was NEVER a threat to democracy by any trump supporters.

On a side note, how has your pizza making been going? I didn’t use my oven for a few months but lately have been like a mad scientist trying to perfect it. This video is fantastic and I have followed much of his advice. It covers dough, sauce, and cheese.
