Dude, just because you are a criminal attorney in NC and actually know the DA who prosecuted his robbery charge doesn’t mean you understand this stuff better than Callatoroy, who has assured me he didn’t misrepresent anything.

I wonder if you’ll get a response to this? And if so will it include the phrase “common sense?”
Something not included in his post that you creamed your pants over.

"2022-2024: Arrests, but no court record
According to Mecklenburg County jail records, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police arrested Brown three times between 2022 and 2024. None of those arrests appear to have led to charges, or the cases were dismissed in a way that no longer appears in court records.

In September 2022, Brown was arrested for assault on a female and property injury, but court records do not reflect a corresponding charge.

Jail and police records indicate arrests in April and May 2024, both for repeatedly dialing 911 without an emergency. WBTV, again, could not locate a corresponding court record for the arrests.

Smells like DEI doesn't it farce? Of course it does. That's just common sense

With all the accusations that this was a leftist, which it still could be, it helps to remember that the far right is not exactly a unity love fest. Groups on the extreme splinter and have rivalries all the time. All purity movements fall victim to them, i know Nick Fuentes was no fan of Charlie Kirk and would send the Groypers out to harass the Turning Point folks. When you get to the end of the spectrums, you find a lot of unbalanced people.
Pretty much. Until the killer is caught (hopefully they will be) and we know their motivations then it seems wildly premature to be blaming anybody for anything. Even if the shooter is a "leftist" that hardly tarnishes all liberals, especially given all of the wild rhetoric we've heard from the right for at least the past decade. This tragedy definitely seems to be giving at least some conservatives a chance to vent all of their rage and bitterness at liberals though, as we've clearly been seeing on this very thread.

This post is specifically for @Ramrouser whose very first posts on this thread in the aftermath of a horrific, senseless act of violence, was to make a remark about "the left" wanting a civil war.

I was referencing this board - many of whom have discussed it openly.

And in case all of you right wing fuck-bois were wondering how the political climate in our country could reach a point where political activists get shot, here is your POTUS, fanning the flames.

Fuck all of you for allowing this snake into the Oval Office.
lol. Fuck you for running a brain dead candidate hell bent on open borders, child trafficking, and dismantling the military, and for your anti democratic, unelected choice who is dumber than the brain dead candidate on his worst day. Provide better candidates to vote for. You sound like you need a vacation. You might want to visit DC. Its finally safe to visit.

Did they also recognize the Colorado victims? I can maybe get ok with this, then.

Perhaps I just don't appreciate how famous/beloved Kirk was. I barely know who he was and get him confused with that other punchable nazi. I don't watch TV so I don't have my finger on the pulse of the country.
Please let this be fake.

This is the current most prominent right wing media person in prime time on America's most-watched cable news network, calling for the avenging of and retribution for Kirk's death when we don't even have a suspect in custody, have zero idea of the shooter's motivations, etc.

My wife follows politics more casually than us ZZL-Pers and she posed the question to me tonight asking how Trump and right wing media are already politicizing the event and demonizing the left when they don't even have a suspect in custody. I was like "Oh, you sweet summer child..."

Absolutely hate, hate, hate that he was killed. Absolutely hate murder of any kind for any reason. Absolutely hate that Kirk is dead and this wife and children are left to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives.

Also absolutely hate, hate, hate that he held such grotesque beliefs as this one, and that he used his platform to spread them.

This is kind of why the clutching of pearls is so weird to me. Seems like Kirk knew the deal. He was wearing a freedom tshirt - in a country in which carrying guns is seen as liberating and wanting healthcare and housing for others makes one an oppressor. At best he deserves a YOLO shoutout, maybe pouring out the bottom quarter of a warm beer, and some Ts&Ps for his loved ones. He deserves that tonight, I guess, like anyone would. But there will be senseless murders tomorrow and the day after that and the day after that. Kirk would seemingly be ok with that for others. I choose to be as blasé about his death as he would be about those.
