You mean the previous arrests that occurred under Republican District Attorney Andrew Murray who was the top prosecuter in Charlotte? Those arrests?

I got this news only about an hour ago because I just got home from work. I'll say this in the nicest possible terms I can:

I don't condone political violence. I don't condone taking someone's life no matter how hateful, reprehensible, and morally bankrupt that person is. The reason I don't condone it is two-fold:

1. Murder is wrong.

2. And taking the life of a public figure like Charlie Kirk makes a martyr out of him. It washes away all of the awful things he has said and done and rallies the small-minded people who followed him to his cause, and removes the possibility forever that those people might some day come to their senses and see through Charlie Kirk's lies and bullshit. And there are very few people on this earth less-deserving of martyrdom than Charlie Fucking Kirk.

Condolences to his family, and I hope the killer is brought to justice. As for Charlie, I'll say this: When you preach the ideology of hate, sometimes that hate comes back to you.

I'm asking you this with full sincerity, no snark, and no agenda whatsoever other than being genuinely curious as to your belief. Do you really, truly believe that the liberal or left-leaning members of this board community collectively- or even any single, individual members, for that matter- are actually happy that Charlie Kirk was murdered?

Questions I have about the director of the FBI

1. Does he know the difference between subject, suspect, and person of interest?
2. Does he know someone is innocent till proven guilty. his first tweet sure seems to imply he does not.
3. Does he not understand what putting his thumb on the scale of justice can do in a trial setting to prejudice a jury?

Just ask them what solutions they have that have a chance to realistically pass given our country's culture and the constitution. Racism, bigotry, Christian nationalism and fascism isn't just a different view when you actively try to take away rights for people and treat them differently just because they are not a straight white Christian. But tell yourself whatever you want to justify your party doing all that, and it's not just the fringe right doing it.

I didn't misrepresent anything. He was mentally ill, had a history of violence, and was arrested 14 times. He shouldn't have been on the street. Only officials put in place by DEI can't see that and of course their plan is to make him write a letter. There is no defending this and you only look like a fool for trying. These are the people you elect: "In September 2025, Representative Jasmine Crockett drew widespread criticism after stating in a podcast that law enforcement's role is to solve crimes, not necessarily to prevent them." I love her though because its those idiots that keep your party down.
