The Charlie Kirk Thread

a martyr for hate/trolling?

Its always sad when someone dies…especially for speech, no matter what they say, but he should absolutely be remembered for what he amplified(he seemed like a decent human day to day).

He played a dishonest racist and troll.
Agree.

I was responding to CFord who had posted a tweet about seemingly opposing factions of right wingers, half who are saying the left is acting violent, while the other half is acting violent. I just think its all the same and they don't care that its hypocritical.

Exactly. That's been my point. A guy who says empathy is bullshit deserves no fucks given when someone decided not to show him empathy.
Oh yeah, I’ve definitely agreed with you. I knew it wasn’t like you were saying that you were glad he was dead or anything like that. You were saying that he quite literally fucked around and found out the hard way. It sucks that he had to find out by quite literally losing his life. I wish it had been different. But I agreed with your premise that it’s understandable for someone to feel no empathy for what happened to him.

I think both halves are the same halves. Hypocrisy is not something they care about.
this. We see it here. Ram and his buddies are saying this is because we call them fascists, authoritarians, etc. and for some of them in the same damn post call us communists, pedos, groomers, etc. (POTUS himself called Harris Comrade Kamala and posted AI memes of her as Stalin).

Charlie Rock is an idiot and so is anyone that agrees.

You think that supporting gun rights and acknowledging that those rights are going to be misused, means that Kirk wants the rights misused or hopes they are misused and deserves to die as a result?

Pretty fucking stupid take.

Do you want to absolish all guns?

Do you support free speech rights despite knowing they will be misused? Does that mean you support verbal threats and want black people called the n-word?

JFC
Dumb fuck, you are spinning yourself into circles because you don’t even know what you are arguing for/against.

It’s pretty simple. Charlie Kirk believed that gun rights were more important than individual lives. If you are making a freedom omelet, you are going to need to break some eggs. So obviously, Charlie should be fine being the egg in this scenario, right? Or is he being a hypocrite?

Lmfao. Not one single solitary member of Congress did such a thing.

What actually happened: the Speaker asked for a moment of silence, Boebert yelled out that silent prayers get the silent treatment from God and demanded a spoken prayer. Grumbling broke out from both sides and then I believe some Democrats asked for a moment of silence for the Denver shooting too and then more grumbling happened.

Not if you want to go to public school or take part in any number of basic activities in the United States (at least until rfkworm reverses that)
Public school policy is not set by the federal government.

There are no federal requirements to be vaccinated to work at a private business and it's ridiculous to think it's okay to try to force that.

Of course, there are federal requirements for vaccines for the USAF. So no, not remotely ridiculous.
