If they're just gonna make up stuff about Kirk, maybe we should as well.

"Trans rights are human rights!" -Charlie Kirk
"Black lives matter!" -Charlie Kirk
"Common sense gun reform is critical to saving lives." -Charlie Kirk
"Release the Epstein Files!" -Charlie Kirk

“… In addition, two of the people familiar with the probe said it may be difficult to charge Robinson at the federal level for Kirk’s killing, while the third source said there is still an expectation that some kind of federal charge is filed against Robinson.

Factors that have complicated the effort to bring charges at the federal level include that Robinson, a Utah resident, did not travel from out of state; Kirk was shot during an open campus debate at Utah Valley University. Additionally, Kirk himself is not a federal officer or elected official.…”
Remember, Kash Patel has repeatedly assured the American people that the investigation will closely guard the information it finds and will be circumspect in regards to releasing information.

Good for Erika Kirk. But she were surrounded by folks with a rather different message — I hope she goes a different direction with TPUSA than the politicians seeking to exploit her husband’s death.

“… White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller said that the death of Kirk has turned into righteous fury. “The day that Charlie died, angels wept, but those tears have been turned into fire in our hearts,” he said, adding that “our enemies cannot comprehend our strength, our determination, our resolve, our passion.”

“Our lineage and our legacy hails back to Athens, to Rome, to Philadelphia, to Monticello, our ancestors built the cities they produced, the art and architecture they built,” Miller said, without explaining to whose lineage he was referring….”

It seems pretty clear whose "lineage" he's referring to, and they happen to have white skin (although, ironically, the Greeks and Romans probably wouldn't be accepted by Miller today as his type of white people).

“… Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said that he first met Kirk in the nascent days of Turning Point. “Over time, he realized, like so many of us have, that this is not a political war, it’s not even a cultural war, it’s a spiritual war,” Hegseth said

… The crowd inside the stadium erupted into an extended “USA! USA!” chant when Vance, who was close friends with Kirk, took the lectern.

… “I think he would encourage me to be honest, that evil still walks among us,” Vance said. “He would tell me to put on the full armor of God and get back to work.”

… Trump praised Kirk but said they disagreed on at least one thing.

“He did not hate his opponents, he wanted the best for them,” Trump said. “That’s where I disagree with Charlie. I hate my opponents and I don’t want what’s best for them. I’m sorry, I am sorry Erika.”

Trump said Kirk’s killer wasn’t just targeting him, but also “everyone of us.”

He added that the shooter had failed, “Charlie’s message has not been silenced.” [Except about wanting what’s best for people and not hating them, I guess?] …”

To be fair, Monticello was designed by Thomas Jefferson, but it was largely built and run by the hundreds of slaves he owned at the plantation, and who did nearly all of the work there.

ETA: Miller's "memorial" speech was at least as disturbing as Trump's. Trump's speech was utterly predictable - a supposed tribute to Kirk that eventually turned into a rambling discourse on himself and his beautiful tariffs and taking over blue cities to fight crime and so on. Miller's speech was a well-organized call to go after liberals and to vigorously push white Christian Nationalism (although the ancient Greeks and Romans for most of their history weren't Christian).

🎁 —> Trump’s Dangerous Response to the Kirk Assassination

“… Every political movement in history, including the most bloodthirsty, has condemned political violence by its opponents. The only real test is whether you also oppose political violence by your allies. This is a test Trump has repeatedly failed.

Because condemning political violence is a matter of principle, it remains necessary no matter which side has committed more violence. However, to the extent that Trump is implying the left bears exclusive or even disproportionate responsibility for violence, he is wrong.

… Both Trump’s intentions and his capacity to follow through on his threats are unclear. Yet here is the straightforward reading of his rhetoric: The president of the United States is treating the political opposition as accessories to murder and threatening to use the full power of the government to attack it.“

Good for her if she repudiates her dead husband’s hate speech and takes TPUSA in a different direction than her hateful husband.
