Calvin Klein should sue for copyright infringement if the worshipers of Kirk keep using CK in reference to their false profit.

The stadium looked pretty full. One end zone was blocked but there were people on the field. So I’d guesstimate 55k in the building. But the Charlie’s Angels have tried to claim it was 200k. No one inflates crowd size numbers quite like MAGA.

I mean watched it on TV/streaming - I've been seeing MAGA people online claiming it got more viewers than the Super Bowl which seems like BS to me

Any unbiased reports on how many people watched this thing?
NBC News said about 95,000, including some who were in an overflow coliseum next to the stadium. Of course The NY Post and other right-wing sites are simply accepting the Turning Point quote of 200,000 as completely accurate. An impressive turnout even with 95,000, but of course they've got to exaggerate and make it sound like one of the greatest funeral turnouts of all time.

And apparently they actually sold concessions at the memorial service, including $19 for bottles of water and cokes. They also sold churros and soft pretzels, among other things. And a dippin dots concession. It's so fitting for Trumper grifters to turn a hero of the movement's death into a chance to make some quick cash.

Glendale police estimated the number of attendees as high as 100,000. The stadium held about 70,000, the overflow site held about 10,000, and another 10,000 were estimated to be in and around the Westgate area, according to Bryan Hoskin, a spokesperson with the department.

Crowd-size numbers or penis sizes on Tinder or Grindr.

The stadium capacity is 63k for football and 78k for "large events". I believe I saw a report that they stopped letting people inside the stadium after 40k. I would guess no more than 20% of the seats were blocked off, probably more like 15%. So 40k would seem a bit low, 50-55k inside is realistic maybe 65k with floor seating depending on how tightly you pack in the floor crowd. The hockey arena is right next door and I understand that was used as overflow. It has a 19k capacity for concerts so combined you probably easily have 75k to 85k not accounting for any overflow that did not get into either stadium.

From Stephen Miller’s “eulogy.” But don’t call him a Nazi!!!

“We stand for what is good, what is virtuous, what is noble. And for those trying to incite violence against us, those trying to foment hatred against us. What do you have? You have nothing. You are nothing. You are wickedness, you are jealousy! You are envy! You are hatred! You are nothing! You can build nothing. You can produce nothing. You can create nothing. We are the ones who build. We are the ones who create. We are the ones who lift up humanity.

“You thought you could kill Charlie Kirk? You have made him immortal. You have immortalized Charlie Kirk and now millions will carry on his legacy. And we will devote the rest of our lives to finishing the causes for which Charlie gave his last measure of devotion. You cannot defeat us. You cannot slow us. You cannot stop us. You cannot deter us.

“We will carry Charlie and Erika in our heart every single day and fight that much harder because of what you did to us. You have no idea the dragon you have awakened. You have no idea how determined we will be to save this civilization. To save the West, to save this republic.”

This whole part of his speech is about the best example of GOP projection that I've seen: "And for those trying to incite violence against us, those trying to foment hatred against us. What do you have? You have nothing. You are nothing. You are wickedness, you are jealousy! You are envy! You are hatred! You are nothing! You can build nothing. You can produce nothing. This dude really needs to look in a mirror before he accuses anyone of "wickedness, jealousy, envy, and hatred." And what the hell are Trumpers building? They're actually just destroying and tearing down vital government services, waging a war on medicine and science, and ripping apart the fabric of our society. They're "building" nothing.

They're so, so desperate to have their own celebrated martyr that they can compare to MLK or JFK or RFK or Malcolm X. At this point I do think they're reaching the overkill stage (no pun intended) of trying to deify him. And no matter what they do they'll never be able to wipe away all of the nasty comments he made over his career about many individuals and groups of people. I just don't see it happening, but then these are the spiritual descendants of the people who were able to turn Confederate traitors like Robert E. Lee into celebrated national heroes for generations, so there's that.

You have to listen to the end to get the full effect:

Tucker’s implication (that the assassination of Kirk reminds him of “people eating hummus” plotting to kill Jesus to shut him up) is punctuated by a genuinely insane cackle, like in public you hear that laugh, you instinctively get as far away from that guy as circumstances allow.
