but this was their classic...

That was their second album and maybe better than their first. I have a love/hate relationship with this song because it really got played so much and nothing else of theirs ever did. It deserved it's popularity but kinda overshadowed everything else .

Saw them at the Longbranch in Raleigh. What a fun show. And i am betting you guys related to this back in the day.

Planning to see this guy in NYC. Seems much bigger in Europe/England than here. But he has the chance to be big. His new album is coming out in February, and it was produced by the War on Drugs guy. You can hear the influence in his first single from that upcoming album.

He's had a couple of albums and had a big hit several years ago. I mean the below video only has 40 million views.

Seeds and stems...

Reminds me of the day I bought a pound of Mexican pot for $100...

3/4 was pot and 1/4 was stems and seeds.

We had to smoke 3 joints to get high:cool:

Columbian was $35/oz... preemo baby !

I could pick up a quarter pound for 35 bucks after work on Friday, sell 3 ounces for 15 buck each and have 10 bucks and an ounce of pot by 7:30. In 1973,that was a good start for a weekend.

Statute of Limitations. Early 70s my visits to my cousin outside Austin would often involve a bit of his import business. Mexican dirt weed helped pay for much of my mountain land as well as my itinerant lifestyle. Volume pricing was $25 - $35 lb. I paid a bit more. Brought back to NC. You might have purchased some.

Harry Chapin was born December 7, 1942

"She said, "I wish that I was beautiful
Or that you were halfway blind
And I wish I weren't so goddamned fat
I wish that you were mine"

They did. Have Let Me Love You Tonight a few years later with Vince Gill on lead vocals.

I pretty much quit listening after Craig Fuller left and little besides the first two albums . By that time , Fuller had probably joined Little Feat.

I could very well have bought from you, scallywag. I tried to bargain for $80/pound to no avail
The transaction took place in an unfinished basement on Ransom Street.

Or one of my customers. Didn't do too many singles except for a couple friends. Did know someone on Ransom St one of those years.
