I've been listening to this for 54 years.

love this song...In my humble opinion the greatest rock and roll band of all time.

I only saw them once in 1975. Ron Wood played with the band ( and the next year became a permanent member ) and Billy Preston was on the keyboards.

There is an organization in Hillsborough ,NC that promotes the music and advocates for financially assisting elderly blues musicians.

Eat A Peach is on my Mount Rushmore of Rock albums...
Had the pleasure to see them in RFK Stadium back in the day along with the Grateful Dead which was the best of many concerts I have seen in my 73 years

but i have top you with my favorite song off that album

so I was listening to Selena this morning as I ran my errands and she makes me so happy

indulge a brief story..

My sister lives in Mexico and on a visit years ago she took us to San Miguel to eat a pizza at Mama Mia's for lunch. We were walking down to the restaurant and passed a bar that had its doors wide open and this song was blasting. We stopped to look in and saw these young folks dancing on the top of the bar and when the" hey hey hey" refrain came, they were stomping and chanting the refrain !

For me it was a brief thrilling moment. I asked my sister who was singing the song and she laughed and said "Selena"
At that moment I became hooked on pop Latin music.

For anyone interested in Selena I highly recommend her movie starring Jennifer Lopez that chronicles her life, career, and her tragic death.
