That isn’t San Francisco. That is down in Monterrey/Gilroy. The one 13 years earlier was in South San Francisco which is down by the airport in San Mateo county. As you know, San Francisco Bay Area (which encompasses nine counties) is not the same as the city of San Francisco.

Got it. Whenever I see a reference to Bay area, I assume that includes San Francisco.

Looks like the southeast will have a threat for severe weather this weekend. We have had more legit severe storm threats the past few years in winter than winter storm threats.

Weather here was miserable today. 40s and rain. Hoping we can get some snow in January.

Models are showing it getting cold after New Years Day and even colder around the 11th. Also showing the possibility of snow around that period.

Lots of tornado warnings in Texas and Louisiana today and still ongoing in Louisiana. The system is moving east and could have bad storms in NC and SC tomorrow.

Alabama and Mississippi are getting the tornado warnings now.

Update - Band was intense but moved through super fast. No thunder but brief/very intense tropical type rain for late December. Temp shot up to about 65 degrees.

Weather alert radio just went off here In Davidson county too. Severe thunderstorm, but not (yet) tornado.

Torrential rain and high winds in Uptown Charlotte, but it blew through in about ten minutes. The winds have calmed and the rain is now steady but moderate. The tornado warnings remain north and northeast of Uptown.
