At least here that was a big nothing. Didn't even rain much... So everything is back to yellow this morning

I had some good storms roll through. Heavy rain with lots of thunder and lightning.

I saw a line of cars at the car wash today. I don't understand wasking your car now when it will just look the same covered with pollen the next day.

I saw a line of cars at the car wash today. I don't understand wasking your car now when it will just look the same covered with pollen the next day.

I just spray my car down every few days so the pollen doesn't turn into that paste that is harder to get off if you wait.

I ride my bike around Southwest Orange a lot.. Not South of 54 but this is my hood

South of 54 and in Orange County is so much on crappy narrow roads……White Cross and Collins Mountain Roads between Old Greensboro Highway and Crawford Dairy Road are great cycling roads; BUT, being on either puts you on either or both Old Greensboro and/or Crawford Dairy. Those SUCK!

Even in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s we didn’t ride on Old Greensboro.

Dairyland and out to Efland was empty. Orange Grove Road was empty in those days. Old 86 was empty.

Riding west/northwest from the Clean Machine was great riding.

A run from Carrboro Town Hall on Old 86 to the old Hillsborough High School was dead-on 13.1 miles and a GREAT run with a support vehicle carrying water. An “easy” 95-100 minute run. Beautiful road.

I wouldn’t run or bike on Old 86 for a million dollars today.

I’d up my life insurance before I’d ride on Old Greensboro or Crawford Dairy.
