We have had heavy snow for several hours now. Wind gusts blowing it off the rooftops and trees at various intervals, which is great so long as the gusts don’t get so strong that they damage power lines.

Pouring now in western Forsyth County. It was weirdly snowing very lightly earlier this morning while nothing was showing on the radar above us.

Looking like the triangle from Greenville, SC to Charlotte to Hickory may be the money spot for this one. Maybe far eastern NC as well as the storm develops off the coast this afternoon.

Yeah Greenville and Charlotte are getting pummeled. We’re getting steady snow in the Triad too, just not as heavy.

I have a mediation in Charlotte on Monday. Definitely going to be remote now, if it even happens.

Yeah with the cold tonight and tomorrow night, that will be tough. Looking at the radar, I’d love to be in a cabin up around Saluda right now.

Still coming down heavy in Charlotte and the temp is 21 with a “feels like” of 8 degrees. Will be between 15 and 21 through 10am tomorrow. It’s been what 2-3 years since there has been snow here?

From the radar, this could end up being 8-9 inches in Charlotte. Definitely been a while.
