one local weather guy is saying 11 to 17 inches for me tomorrow night, others are saying less than 8 expected. Someone said windy.com, whatever that is, is saying 2 cm.

Those totals reported from southern Rowan and northern Cabarrus counties correspond with ones I measured. At 5:15 from 20+ spots the snow averaged 10.5”, and it was still coming down at a moderate rate.

I’d say we’re around 8-9 inches in Greensboro and still coming down.

Really feeling for all the Raleigh snow lovers out there. This is perfect, fluffy, dry snow. But it will become a mess for the roads as it melts and re-freezes.
