This is the Republican Party

*in 2020, big media, social media, legacy media and the Deep State conspired to bury the Hunter Biden laptop story on the eve of the election and voting rules were relaxed too much which enabled fraud. This impacted, but did not steal, the election
*Trump is a brilliant businessman and media expert
*Trump's first term economy was excellent
*Trump is draining the swamp and ending DEI.
I appreciate you contributing your opinion...no snark. I appreciate your willingness to engage with us libs.

So you believe that Obama was born in America and not a Muslim
You believe that crime is not at an all time high
God has not chosen Trump to save America
Foreign countries are not emptying prisons and insane asylums and shipping these brown people to America
Transgenders are not taking over America
America is not a Christian nation

on that we agree

I think we may agree about Trump draining the swamp if you mean firing the experienced competent folks who occupy important positions in the FBI ,CIA ,NIH, etc and replacing them with inexperienced and incompetent folks

I don't think we can agree that Trump is a brilliant businessman unless you mean he is a brilliant con man who is excellent at screwing MAGAs out of their beer and cigarette money and exploiting his presidency to line his pockets with millions/billions from countries like Saudi Arabia.

From MAGA's perspective, Trump is draining and reforming the swamp:

Making DOGE cuts and ending sweat heart deals to liberal NGOs via USAID
Pulling out, by the roots, all DEI programs. It was discovered that the Dept of Trans. spent 80B on DEI.
Reducing climate regulations
Reforms to the Pentagon - ending DEI, transgender and drag shows in military
Firing the political hacks in the DOJ, CIA and State Department
Declassifying Obama era memos showing how involved Obama, Brennan, Clapper, Comey were in pushing the Steele Dossier and Russia Collusion narrative.
Reducing the federal work force
Ending loose work from home rules
Ending subsidies to liberal entities PBS and NPR
Civil Service reform
Modernizing the Department of Transportation and air traffic controller equipment - Buttigieg purposely put off modernization since it would put more plans in the skies hurting the climate
FDA reforms and removal of artificial dyes from our food.
Transforming border control and ICE from a travel agency ("where would you like to go and stay") for illegal immigrants to it's original purpose

You get the idea.
So, that's not draining the swamp. That's tearing down the political infrastructure that allowed government to move through the swamp. Now we're just neck deep in muck and starting to drown. I don't understand how you could mistake what actually constitutes the swamp?

Also, you do realize, I hope, that the $80B referenced in those stories going around the right wing infosphere was for infrastructure improvements that were (a) approved by Congress, and (b) delegated to DOT to implement as part of the Infrastructure Act. It's not DEI for DOT to improve bridges in the Mississippi Delta.

Quite the jump you're making there. Trump and Epstein ran in the same circles (like most of the elite in Palm Beach/Manhattan) for 15 years so it's not surprising. I guess you're thinking THIS is what finally brings Trump down and you'll be able to see him frog marched out of the White House and/or Mar -a-Lago and into jail (liberal fantasy for the past 10 years).

We've already seen that. And we already know that you'll support the kiddie diddler to the bitter end.

Trump has declared bankruptcy six times. Brilliant businessmen do not declare bankruptcy six times. He's been sued at least dozens (perhaps hundreds) of times for failing to pay his bills. He has a long record of failed (or at least highly dubious) business ventures, including Trump Steaks, Trump University, Trump Airlines, Trump Vodka, Trump Magazine, and so on. And some of these were shown to not only be failed business ventures, but fraudulent.

Trump is a brilliant scammer and con artist and media manipulator, but he most certainly is not a brilliant businessman, and never has been. From the beginning he's been nothing but a reality-show star (even before there were reality shows) whose main talent lay in keeping himself in the limelight and bullying and scamming others. As with so many other Trumpers, most of the Donald Trump described here doesn't really exist - he's a figment of his fan's imaginations.

It's really telling that even when a staunch right-wing media property owned by the rabidly right-wing Murdoch family says that Trump is indeed listed in the Epstein Files, his fans (cult) still refuse to believe it. I think if even Fox came out and said it they wouldn't be able to bring themselves to believe it, because if they did then they would have to admit that their critics were right and they were wrong to place so much trust and hero-worship in him, and that simply can never be allowed to happen. They really are in the "ride or die" stage with him now.

I think there are certain, individual criteria that make you automatically MAGA. Among (but not limited to) those things are:
  • If you were a member of the violent mob on J6
  • If you believe that God literally intervened in 2016 election to guarantee a Trump win
There could be more that I'm just not thinking of.

Other than those special situations, I think there's some kind of mathematical equation involving other criteria like:
  • Believing the 2020 election was stolen
  • You believe China created and released the Covid virus so Trump would lose
  • The Covid vaccines contained microchips, Luciferase, tentacled creatures, etc
  • Trump was secretly running the country from 2020-2024
  • Covid lockdowns, masks etc were just a test run for future use of Martial Law

Combined with:
  • White replacement theory
  • Dems want open borders because they need illegals to vote Democrat with now (illegally) or in the future
  • The Democratic Party is full of socialists or want socialism
  • Most of the people coming across the border are in gangs, murderers and rapists
  • Any number of crazy things related to California and crime laws
  • Obama isn't a US citizen
  • There's a pandemic of cat/pet eating immigrants
  • Climate change is just a big scam to tax carbon

I know there's more for each list, but that's just a few things off the top of my head.

Trump has claimed more business LOSSES than anyone in the history of the IRS.

Civil service reform? You mean civil service decimation? There's no reform under Trump. Only destruction. Every single aspect of the executive branch is being destroyed.

The political hacks in the DOJ? Who the fuck are you to call another lawyer a hack? Danielle Sassoon was magna at Harvard undergrad, Yale Law Review, Scalia clerk. Kirkland & Ellis. Teaches at NYU. You don't know how jurisdiction works. She is 1000x as intelligent and accomplished as you. Go fuck yourself hard and wide.

Sassoon is a principled conservative USA who resigned her position in the Adams case. Never suggested she was a political hack who was fired as such because she wasn’t.
