Make sure you get skin cancer screenings people!!!!

Had a mole that was weird. We kept monitoring it. Finally got it removed for biopsy and turned out to be early early in situ melanoma... All gone but had I never gone to get checks, could have been bad in many years

Just saw something I've never seen or maybe noticed before. I saw a juvenile hummingbird. I noticed because it was feeding with two others and was considerably smaller. When I looked closer ,the colors appeared more intense but that might have been incidental. I doubt I'd have noticed without the clear size difference.

I guess they mature really fast. It's not that long before time to migrate.

Cool.

hummingbirds are awesome. I've read that they gain 50% more body weight before migration across the Gulf of MEXICO. 😁

I think we're on a migration route. We always have right many hummingbirds. I see two or three every five minutes or so. Last fall, though, we had about two or three weeks that we had so many I couldn't keep track. I figure it must have been some of the northern ones getting a head start.

I should start getting more next year. It'll be the second real year for my garden of perennials and most of them should actually bloom. They're all native and meant to attract bees, hummingbirds and butterflies. Getting a few already despite the sparse bloom.

Lately my garden attracts rabbits....

Damn rabbits have taken out about 5 plants so far. I hope they can come back.

Whenever Powerball gets big, and I notice it's big, I buy one $2 ticket each drawing until someone wins. I bought one on Wednesday and am standing in line to use the kiosk to buy one today.

Unfortunately, I'm behind 2 young guys and a young girl that are apparently trying to unravel the mystery of random number drawings, in real time, because they've been at the kiosk for no less than 15 min.

Great advice. I went this week for my yearly checkup with my dermatologist. Froze a place on my arm and face. Did a biopsy on a place on my arm. Didn’t think it was anything, but to be safe than sorry.
A friend of ours uncle was at the doctor one time. He had his shirt off. The doctor said he needed to get a mole on his shoulder looked at. He blew the advice off. Turned out it was melanoma and it killed him.
