Well, at least her first name wasn't Melody.
 
My wife and I have been cleaning out drawers and cabinets the last 2-3 days. In one cabinet we found a stack of old newspapers. Turns out the papers had articles primarily about our grandchildren (honor roll, sports, stuff like that). One was the first section of the Burlington Times-News dated October 3, 2003. I looked thru it four times and couldn’t find anything relating to a family member. I told my wife. She told me to just delete it.

On the second page of the section was LM Boyd’s column. He was Wikipedia before Wikipedia existed.
 
I don't have any reason to suspect anything but I'm still nervous about today. My ENT surgeon is going to stick a camera down my nose into my throat to see if I'm cancer still free. Got to tell you once a year is better than the once a month we started with. Been six years since treatment finished.

Good luck! I have a procedural question….if they are accessing your throat, why go through your nose instead of your mouth? That seems like a larger orifice in which to insert a scope.
 
What is wrong with telemarketers who call you and when you answer, act as if you're expected to carry on a conversation? It's true I give them a very perfunctory "Hi" and silence. It's like they think I'm going to tell a stranger who I am. They have about five second to ID themselves and their reason to call before I hang up and block them.

It's true that the outcome probably didn't change but one way that might have some chance.

This is why I do not answer the phone unless I know the caller. If it's important they can leave a message.

Well, through the nose is the only way I've had it done so I can't really compare. I think maybe but after having had it done for seven years, starting monthly and sometimes more, it doesn't now and I don't remember if it did.
