I got old man's tech skills and old carpenter's hands. I've successfully fought down any urges of any kind to post any.

I don't trust pictures anyway. Objects might be okay but I'm pretty sure they steal souls. Look at Trump. I can't avoid them altogether but I do pretty good.

I'm glad they came back. I feel the same when something shows life that I felt was probably dead.

The pictures or it didn't happen was just a memory from the old board.

So this particular type of bird likes to nest on our front porch and they are weirdly aggressive and annoying. This year we put owl statues out to keep them away/get them to nest elsewhere.

We had one of those last year, there were 5 babies. It was fun watching them from eggs to leaving.

We did that two years ago and it was fun despite being dive bombed regularly on our own porch. The Next year we had three nests, way more dive bombing and mess. Trying to avoid more with owls but we failed — we don’t have the heart to run them off now. Will try spikes next year I guess.

Been cruising on my scooter today. This is my all metal 1960’s replica Lambretta scooter made by Royal Alloy - with a SYM 150cc engine. Perfect for cruising the beach ways and backroads of NE Fla/SE GA coastline.

When I was working at a power plant in Western Kentucky, the plant safety manager put up some artificial owls to scare pigeons off the roof after he nearly shot an instrument mechanic with a 410 shotgun while hunting pigeons. Needless to say, within a day pigeons were perching on top of the artificial owls. At the next meeting, I asked if I could purchase some Great White Shark decoys to scare the shad away from the cooling water intakes.
