If they had a case they would have filed a complaint. I can't see how any of the allegations amount to anything illegal.

This what I find odd. I don’t see how the current petition benefits him in any way or why it was started to begin with.

He is catching a lot flack for it, after just catching a lot of flack for losing the beef the way he did.

and if Drake doesn't like it, there are plenty of other record labels out there. Or he could start his own.

I assume this to be part of it.

He’s allegedly looking to finish up/get out of his current contract with UMG.

Whatever that next contact ends up looking like (if there is one) would be very significant.
 
In the NYC Penny case, the jury was deadlocked on manslaughter, but acquitted him of the lesser charge, criminally negligent homicide.
Is that odd? Logic tells me that those who thought he was guilty of the greater charge would also find him guilty of the lesser charge. So I figure there must be an explanation for what I don’t understand.
