And while we're on the subject he SHOULDN'T have ever seen the court at this time last year! We all saw him play in November/December. He sucked. To be fair to Lubin with regard to his previous transfers, he left Notre Dame after the coach who recruited him and coached him his freshman year was canned, and then he left Vanderbilt after the coach who recruited him there coached him his sophomore year was canned.

So... why did he leave UNC? And why did he go down the road to play for an arch-rival?
And Notre Dame was really bad under that coach who was canned. He needed to go.
 
I really liked what we saw from Kyan. The shooting obviously, coming from a lot of great looks

But he was under control and didn’t force anything. All they will need from him vs good teams
 
I’ve been low on Zayden, probably since his freshman year. And he looked extra bad yesterday

But I do think he’s the best option off the bench at 5, unless they get into small lineups with Jarin or Caleb at 5

Hard to say it’s just rust when he’s never not looked rusty. Hopefully he can figure something out

Obviously, i’m just saying pretty much all the years we have sucked, we’ve had an early season shit performance against one of these teams like Gardner Webb, Brown, etc. Winning this by 40 doesn’t mean we’re good, i think we’re prolly ~15-20, but if we struggle with one of these teams in the near future, than that means we are pretty mediocre to bad

He left because we recruited over him and because State offered him more money and a better role.

I think he left in a crummy way, but I can't blame him for leaving for something better.
