Trump Media shareholder UAV dumped nearly 11 million shares

"United Atlantic Ventures LLC, a major shareholder in Trump Media, has sold or otherwise gotten rid of nearly 11 million shares in the company, according to a regulatory filing Thursday.

The move left UAV, a partnership of former “Apprentice” contestants Andrew Litinsky and Wes Moss, owning just 100 shares in Trump Media, which operates the Truth Social app.

UAV was allowed to sell any of its 5.4% stake in DJT’s outstanding shares after a lock-up agreement that barred company insiders from selling expired on Sept. 19.

UAV is the only known insider to sell off shares since last week.

Litinsky and Moss had pitched the idea of a social media company to former President Donald Trump, and co-founded the company with him in 2021.
The duo later fell out with Trump, who is the Republican presidential nominee, and have been embroiled in lawsuits with Trump Media over their shares since then. ..."
I don’t know how much they original put into it but they’re walking away with over $130 million. I would take that and not worry that it was $700 million at one point.

Up over $15.05 so far today -- disclosure that shows insiders have held their shares seem to be the news drawing fans ("investors") back in.

I'm also not convinced that there aren't political types, and corporate types trying to suck up to Trump, for favors down the road should he win.
I think those are the major buyers at this point.

In theory, folks could be buying when it gets below $12 because they think Trump support alone will have it settle in the mid-teens, but it seems you could get those kind of short-term returns on a far less risky stock.

Former President Donald Trump’s media company has forced out executives in recent days after internal allegations that its CEO, former Rep. Devin Nunes, is mismanaging the company, according to interviews and records of communications among former employees.

Several people involved with Trump Media believe the ousters are retaliation following what they describe as an anonymous “whistleblower” complaint regarding Nunes that went to the company’s board of directors.

The chief operating officer and chief product officer have left the company, along with at least two lower-level staffers, according to interviews, social media posts and communications between former staffers reviewed by ProPublica.

There's no "mismanaging" that company. It has no real future and no one can stop it from being nearly worthless as an actual operation.

I noticed that the put options for Nov 8 are far more expensive than the options for Nov 1. Seems that people think that if Trump loses the election the price will cater quickly.

That actually might be worth taking a flyer on. Buy some Nov 8 puts and calls about equally out of the money and hope there's a clear winner by then. Gotta think DJT will tank or soar based on Trump's fortunes at the ballot. I'd feel dirty buying the calls though, but that'd be the only way to (ahem) hedge the bet...

I thought about that possibility. I am sure volatility will be high.

Some crazy action on DJT stock today. It was up 13% earlier, then began a nosedive. An auto-market volatility indicator tripped, temporarily halting trading in the stock. When it went back to trading, it continued it's plummet to close down 9% for the day.

Whoever is buying up shares to rally the stock, as they or others, then dump shares, are playing games with the market makers.

Of course cultist MAGAs are claiming that shorts are in cahoots with the SEC and forced them to halt trading. No, these volotility halts are pre-programmed into the system for all traded stocks.

Yet, the die hard MAGAs proclaimed they will not be tricked as Trump will prevail as he always does.

Crazy stuff. Over 5X average daily volume traded today. This stock and company is as big a fraud as Trump himself. It should be trading as a penny stock on the pink sheets. It even acts like one. Hype, pump and dump, and no Financials to back up valuation, all hallmarks of penny stocks (aka garbage scams).

There is no conspiracy that these guys won't believe - even the ones that are most easily verifiable as false.
