My continuing hope is that there can be a reasonable discussion and debate of the political issues. Otherwise, this board risks becoming the "echo chamber" that the conservatives complain about.

Respectfully, I do not think the Golden Mean Fallacy applies in this case.
again, there is no reasonable discussion with somebody who is starting from a premise that is just blatantly incorrect, and even more so when that wrongness comes from bigotry.

and a group of people being correct about something is not an "echo chamber."

I agree that being correct about something does not = "echo chamber"

My understanding of what is an "echo chamber" is one where only one perspective is deemed acceptable. To me that reduces all discussion to universal agreement and without need for discussion or debate.

but I could be wrong...

There is a definite correlation between those that provide a link to their sources and the validity of those sources.
fwiw, that source doesn’t look like the kind of website someone only interested in the truth would even stumble across by accident.

It would be easily enough responded to…

What? That site was published by renowned political scholar Prof. Dr. Andrew K. Dart!

I take fish far more seriously than I ever took Rand. To me he seems more reasonable and grounded than Rand ever did.
Well, yes, but... fish has slipped a bit backwards from a short time ago. Well, as of a year ago. That's when I quit posting on BoB where I used to run into him.

The MAGA echo chamber didn’t come out of nowhere—it evolved. I first saw it with Rush Limbaugh: weak arguments, massive audience. The right perfected a closed loop where intellectually honest conservative voices don’t stand a chance, and liberal media isn’t even allowed a hearing. The internet finished the job. Outrage is monetized, thinking is optional, and volume beats truth. Long-form thought doesn’t stand a chance.

I know I have a strong liberal bias, but what has a grip on the right has them thinking the trash they link on here stands up. It doesn’t!
