The DC mayor should call a press conference and call out Trump's gaslighting. She needs to reference his diner lie and point out that diner attendance has plunged since the occupation and implore him to stop with his lies and end the occupation because it is hurting not helping DC.

Fake news. Trump has assured us in his tweets that people (Democrats even!) who were, before, too afraid to leave their homes are now coming out in droves to eat out. Surely, he wouldn’t lie.
