I understand your desire to feel that way. You haven't been used to any potus from your party having any respect from russia, or nato for that matter. 2 dim presidents and two russian invasions. One shipped blankets and mre's and the other had to be led around by the hand to find his way from one room to the next. Good thing about your comments is that yours is based on hatred and hoped for failure, and there will be quantifiable results over his 4 years that can be objectively evaluated by experts to determine if fellatio occurred or not.
Sincere question: do you really not find any problem with the optics of the American president, bouncing and clapping on red carpet rolled out by American soldiers, waiting for the arrival on U.S. soil the head of state of our greatest geopolitical adversary, who at this very moment is responsible for the ongoing death and destruction of hundreds of thousands of people of a sovereign nation which he invaded unprovoked? Do you really not see why those optics are really bad? I’m not even asking this with any snark or sarcasm – I’m genuinely curious your thoughts. Putting aside whether you love or hate Trump, or whether you love or hate liberals- do you really not believe that it is a huge own-goal to have POTUS greeting Vladimir Putin like he’s a groupie backstage at a concert?

Lol. Have you seen the polls already? And we’re just six months in. I can’t WAIT for history to judge the enablers of this shitshow.

Military recruitment way up
border secured
deporting violent illegal immigrants and other illegal immigrants
many new trade deals
nato agreeing to pay 5% up from 2% and calling him daddy
cracking down on crime / Laken Riley Act
shrinking size of g'ment and attacking g'ment waste

Lots of winning to go around for everyone, including you even though you don't deserve it.

Are we talking about trump fellating putin or now everything in his entire term? Either is ok but my comments were about how trump handles russia over his term and how that will be judged because that is what you were talking about. You guys love you some polls. I remember how giddy you were when the polls showed chef word salad up after brandon dropped out. How did those polls work for you in every swing state? You seem so out of touch and ignorant about anything outside of what whoopie and sonny tell you. Bet you have that set to record every day
Ouch. You always find a way to be on the wrong side of history. https://www.pewresearch.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/20/2025/08/SR_25.08.14_russia-ukraine_1.png

Oh I don't think he thought for one second what the personal consequences would be. People who get inches from the face of someone just following orders and scream fascist aren't the ones who are known to be strategic in their actions. I think he had a true FAFO moment.
I disagree, but this is, of course, conjecture until more comes out.

I don't think I did. Maybe you mistook something I said as supporting the undoing of it.
You unabashedly support Trump and the Republican party who have made the destruction of the ACA a central campaign issue since the day it was passed.

I dont know how you can square saying Healthcare is sacred with support for those who actively work to undermine it.

For me, if something is sacred, im never voting against it. Ever.

Military recruitment is continuing an upward trend because of the truly abysmal job market for young people. That trend began in 2022 and has mirrored the decline of the private market employment opportunities nearly exactly.

The border is definitely more secure. Whether that is a good thing for the United States or not is a matter of debate since we do not have a functioning immigration system and we need the immigration.

Deporting violent people is good and should always be a priority for any administration. Deporting nonviolent people who are productive in American society is self-defeating and antithetical to our heritage.

Nobody in NATO except possibly Poland is going to spend 5% of their GDP on defense by 2035. If you believe that, you're absolutely foolish. That would be an almost doubling of our own military spending and we most certainly are not doing that.

I have not seen any crackdown on violent crime and I have seen a complete abandonment of any sort of prosecution of white collar crime.

Where is the smaller government? I see a lot of cuts offset by a lot of largesse elsewhere. The net is that spending hasn't declined while revenues collected will likely shrink dramatically.

I disagree that it didn't trick anyone because much of people's initial support (especially those over 55, and both of my parents) was based on the lie that they could keep their existing dr.
Nothing about Obamacare prevented them from keeping their doctor. If the doctor didn't want to take insurance, that was the doctor's problem. S/he could have done that at any time, regardless of Obamacare.

Why are you so ill-informed about everything? Or maybe you just lie.

Honest question, y’all think Calla is genuinely this way? Yall don’t think this is a troll?
I think his user name says it all. He is an unintelligent person with a massive ego (and matching insecurity complex) who thinks he is wise and gets angry when he's shown not to be. I don't think he's a troll. I just think he is a person who none of us would ever like in real life.

All of those things are either false or bad. There are no new trade deals. Trump just imposed taxes on Americans while killing American competitiveness. We are literally losing jobs every day because of the tariffs.

Shrinking size of government? Are you serious? They've got the military marching through the streets and you think government has shrunk? DOGE created way more waste on net, which is why they had to lie about everything they were doing.

Deportations of migrants have caused my grocery bill to increase, so go fuck yourself with this winning bullshit.

Meanwhile, you left out destroying the rule of law, lying to the courts on a regular basis so much that the judges don't believe anything the government tells us. You forgot the mad rush to destroy scientific research in this country, RFK's fucking around with public health and vaccines, the unraveling of Obamacare, the propaganda everywhere, the revenge prosecutions, the groundless attacks on universities, law firms, attorneys, agents.

WFT?

I asked ChatGPT "Which President has been most successful in their first 6 months?"

“Most successful” in the first six months of a U.S. presidency depends on how you define success — legislative achievements, crisis management, public approval, or long-term impact. Historians often point to a few standout examples:

1. Franklin D. Roosevelt (1933)

  • Widely considered the most successful “first six months.”
  • Faced the Great Depression; launched the First New Deal in his first 100 days.
  • Congress passed 15 major bills, including the Emergency Banking Act, Civilian Conservation Corps, and Tennessee Valley Authority.
  • Restored confidence in the financial system.

2. Lyndon B. Johnson (after JFK’s assassination, 1963–64)

  • Not technically the start of a full term, but in his first months he pushed through the Civil Rights Act of 1964, one of the most important laws in U.S. history.

3. Ronald Reagan (1981)

  • Survived an assassination attempt only two months in.
  • Won swift passage of a large tax cut and budget reduction package, setting the tone for his economic agenda.

4. Joe Biden (2021)

  • Signed the American Rescue Plan ($1.9 trillion COVID relief package) within his first two months.
  • Oversaw rapid vaccine rollout that dramatically increased U.S. vaccinations by mid-2021.

5. Abraham Lincoln (1861)

  • Faced immediate secession crisis and the outbreak of the Civil War.
  • Took extraordinary actions (suspending habeas corpus, calling up troops) to preserve the Union.

So you don’t really have sympathy for the homeless. We’ve long established that you lack the ability to empathize.

It’s fascinating that your lingo regarding Trump is that of a cuckold.
Most Americans, conservatives, Liberals, Democrats, Republicans……most Americans don’t have sympathy or empathy for the homeless or “on-the-street” mentally ill.

We want them gone.

We’re unwilling to fund programs to help.

As we move more-and-more into the 2020’s, we’re finding more-and-more first-time homeless are 60 years-old plus…..people without addiction or mental health issues…..fuck ‘em……they’re homeless.

Trump Administration Steps Back on Takeover of D.C. Police Department

After court hearing, DOJ revised directive but reasserted expectations for local police to help with federal immigration enforcement

“… In a new order issued Friday evening, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said the head of the federal Drug Enforcement Administration would only act as a liaison between the Trump administration and the Metropolitan Police Department’s chief, rather than becoming the emergency police commissioner as had previously been announced.

The change came after U.S. Judge Ana Reyes ordered the Justice Department and the city’s leaders to come to a deal quickly over the issue and not risk a dangerous situation in which it wasn’t clear who was in charge of the local police in the nation’s capital.…”

It is sad where we are
On a Positive note in Wake County, probably many other areas , there are organizations whose sole purpose is to give the homeless tents and show up every morning delivering food and water. Now eventually Gov't officials kick them out... If there is a God -these groups are doing her work

Watch the video in this article and let me know your opinion.

I think this is a very good example of how policing should be conducted in high-crime neighborhoods.
Imagine if that same group of men were in that same neighborhood over long periods of time building trust and making relationships.

Where D.C. Crime Is Bad, Residents Question Trump’s Motives

The president might have found allies in Southeast Washington, where violent crime has long vexed residents. But when he described the city as “disgusting,” with “roving mobs,” his remarks left those looking for help cold.

“… It’s not that they don’t believe crime is a problem in the nation’s capital. They know it is.

They just don’t believe the president cares — at least not about them. If he did, they asked, why are residents hearing of federal agents roving the whiter areas of 16th Street Northwest but less so in their largely Black neighborhood? Why are National Guard members posing with tourists at the Washington Monument?

… In neighborhoods such as Congress Heights and Washington Highlands, where the District of Columbia abuts Prince Georges County, Md., the city’s Black working class struggles with the twin challenges that have diminished the ranks of what was once, when Washington still had a majority Black population, affectionately called Chocolate City. There’s crime, for sure, but also gentrification driving Black residents into suburban Maryland and Virginia.

In Ward 8, where Congress Heights is found, there have been 38 homicides this year, accordingto data from the District of Columbia government. That’s almost 10 times as many as Ward 2, where the National Mall is located.

But when Mr. Trump on Monday described the district as “dirty” and “disgusting,” menaced by “roving mobs of wild youth,” he offended some who otherwise might have been more receptive to his “law-and-order” pitch.

… [Some residents think the real goal is to push Black residents out of DC]. Salim Adofo, a member of the Advisory Neighborhood Commission that represents parts of Congress Heights, was not surprised that residents were drawing connections between crime, federalized law enforcement and gentrification.

“It’s becoming harder to live in this specific community as it continues to get developed,” he said. “It’s all wrapped up in together. You really can’t separate any of these things.”…”
