Trump Assassination Attempt Investigations

You're sound a bit like a conspiracy theorist here.

If Trump wasn't hit in the ear, what is your theory on his reaction to being hit and the subsequent blood on his face?
I very clearly never said Trump was not hit in the ear. I said that Trump was not hit in the ear by an AR-15 round. It is likely he was hit by flying shrapnel from whatever the AR-15 round actually did hit. If he’d actually been hit by an AR-15 round, he would have had a cavernous hole in his head and somebody else would be president of the United States right now.

I'm watching a doc on the Roosevelts right now, Teddy got shot in the chest before a campaign speech, dude refused to go to the doctor and proceeded to give an hour long speech with the bullet still lodged in him. Tough ass motherfucker. Crowd had seen the whole thing and then just stood there in shock while he gave the speech anyway. Wouldn't been pretty hard for me to pay much attention to the substance of the speech under those circumstances...

Teddy was definitely the man in the arena.

He almost died exploring the Amazon after losing the 1912 election.

Yeah, I just saw the segment about his Amazon trip (actually, it was the River of Doubt that they traveled, subsequent renamed Roosevelt River). Evidently he (barely) came back from that trip a shell of his former self. He was only in his early 50's but friends said he was an old man after that. Unbelievable the shit they went thru, disaster followed upon disaster yet they kept moving forward. I guess the only other option was to sit there and die but he wasn't going to do that I guess. Evidently he did contemplate OD'ing on the morphine he had brought with him just in case, but he knew his son would never leave his corpse behind and he didn't want to be an extra burden so he just kept going...
