I'm not saying that's good but throw that kind of investigative power behind investigating some of these other politicians and heavyweight businessmen and see what you come up with.

But Republicans just don't seem as willing to go scorched earth as the Democrats. Shame in a way....like a spoiled and petulant child needs an adjustment, so now does the Democratic Party.

Do you ever question why Trump's support actually went up when the Democrats started their lawfare? I'll fill you in....it's because people with an operating brain and able to detect bs when they see it recognized what was happening and it pissed them off.

They watched the worst administration I have ever seen inflict massive damage on this county, lie to the American people over and over again, the border is secure, Biden is a gymnast behind the scenes, and when they realized the gig was up, tried to eliminate the Republican frontrunner through bs lawfare.

It didn't work, thank God, and 1.5 billion dollars plus another 20 million in the hole wasn't enough to pull the most unqualified nominee ever, Kamala Harris, across the finish line. And if you casted a vote for her after having watched her performance and considering what she was a part of the previous 4 years, then I don't know what to tell you. Maybe realign your thinking to where loyalty to a party doesn't outweigh your loyalty to the prosperity and safety of this country.

So I have a suggestion for the Democrats if and when they get another chance, how bout running the country like you have some actual common sense and you might not have to resort to such extremes in order to try and win the next election.

What I question is why you decided to type out two long posts to defend the undeniable fact that your guy is the first felon ever to occupy the Oval Office. Maybe you know what your support of him says about your character?
 
Says a lot for the people that voted for Trump just because of inflation even when he is convicted felon, a narcissist, bragged about sexually assaulting women, a crook, a fraud, a grifter, tried to get a foreign government to interfere with the last election, tried to steal the election by finding votes that didn't exist, incited an attempted insurrection, and is just an overall horrible person. If inflation is more important to them than having someone like that as President, then I would have to question what kind of character they have. Also, if they think he can actually bring inflation down, then they're just plain idiots. The only people that would vote for Trump all fall into at least one of three categories: rich and greedy, racist and bigoted Christian nationalists, and/or idiots.

1. The worst administration you've ever seen? Like every other country, the US had some post-pandemic inflation because of disrupted supply chains and the like. Under the stewardship of Biden and the Fed, inflation came down more quickly than anywhere. Inflation has been at 2-3%, low enough for the Fed to start cutting rates.

2. But uh oh, the Fed isn't going to cut rates this year as much as expected. Why? They were very explicit: Trump is going to cause inflation. So they aren't going to add fuel to the fire. ALREADY -- before Trump has even been inaugurated -- Trump has caused interest rates to go up.

3. Mortgage rates have risen almost 100 basis points since October, and 25 basis points since election day. That's directly related to Trump. It was in October that Trump really started pushing all his tariff bullshit.

The guy hasn't even been inaugurated and he's already pushed interest rates up between 50 and 75 bps. ALREADY.

That is the massive incompetence we are talking about. Add into all that the obvious mental instability.

4. If inflation is up at 6% or higher this time next year, will you finally admit just how awful and idiotic Trump is? He is being handed an amazing economy on a silver platter, and he's going to fuck it up. Again.

Inflation is already rising. It hasn't yet been recorded in the official inflation statistics, so far as I know, but interest rates tell the story:

The interest rate you pay on your bonds (e.g. mortgage) or collect (from savings, CDs, bond investments) is determined by two factors: the real interest rate plus expected inflation. Add those together and you get the nominal rate, which is what we pay or collect.

Interest rates are up substantially. Has anything changed in the economy since last spring? Nothing bad. The fed was cutting rates, even. So it's fair to say that the real interest rate has moved very little. Thus, the increase in interest rates over the past two or three months is almost certainly the market's estimate of inflation going forward.

You do know that Trump was convicted by a jury of his peers, average random people called off the street and selected with approval of Trump and his lawyers. Right? How does that fall under the title of lawfare? Lawfare is what Trump plans to do by truly weponizing the DOJ to go after his perceived enemies, people who rightfully pointed out his illegal transgressions. He will harass and try to ruin them but I guarantee you not one of them will be convicted of a felony by a jury of their peers.

I wouldn't go that far. You're talking about a lot of people and many are politicians and/or lawyers. I don't care if they're on the side of Democrats or angels, some of them are going to be guilty of something.
 
Certainly nothing new at this point but it's still somewhat startling to witness the unhinged rantings of those politically propagandized and radicalized by right wing media. They truly inhabit the upside down. Best to just ignore their screeds as they are unsalvageable politically.

And how did you determine that all they found was the porn star? 'Cause I remember them finding rampant business fraud to the tune of $500M, stealing and possessing classified documents in violation of the Espionage Act, and of course an insurrection against the United States.

I'm happy to put my operating brain against yours any day. I don't think it will go well for you. And while I'm the one offering, there are plenty of people who could step in my place and again, I don't think you will compete. It would be like a DIII school versus UNC. UNC, even at its worst, will rout the DIII school every single time.

It's always interesting to me when people who have no idea what they are talking about accuse others of lacking functional brain power.

When sane people think of the word felon, they usually think of jail. Not zero punishment. Not even an ankle monitor. Literally nobody outside of the zzl cares because they know how corrupt the process was. Brag, Juan, and Merick did more to elect trump than anything the RNC did.
