The US is a maliciously incompetent and unserious country. In just six months of this clown, tens of thousands have unnecessarily died, and likely millions will just as a result of retraction from environmental degradation and medical research efforts - not to mention what I expect to happen once they issue a widespread military deployment and actualize their concentration camp plan.
 
They've been running through all of their old tricks (Benghazi!, Hillary's emails, etc.) trying desperately to find something that will stick and divert the media and public's attention from the Epstein Files. And it appears they may finally have found it, as more and more people - certainly in the news media - seem to be moving from Epstein to talking about this ridiculous attack on Obama. Democrats are upset that Republicans are going this far with such a patently absurd claim, MAGAs are perfectly happy to switch from Epstein to an attack on the hated Obama, and our fickle news media is happy to change the topic as well.

Your last sentence is the crux of the republican party now. Power at all cost. They keep their base hopped up on fear and anger while they continue to funnel more money to the rich and corporations, as well as a little taste for themselves.

As long as they continue to have their state media in place, there will be no reaching a horrifically large portion of our fellow citizens. They'll gladly burn the country to the ground to keep it out of the hands of "the others".
