Trump goes bananas over Dem message to military re: illegal orders

Steven Cheung is in my top 5.
It's like they are all out of "bad guy" central casting...

Miller looks like a demon/wraith and would be a short mini-me Skeletor

Cheung is a "big boss" fat guy at the end of a old school video game stage

Noem is Cruella Deville

Even "almost" AG Matt Gaetz looks like the Joker with skin tone makeup up

Trump has been open about hiring people bc they 'look the part' (meaty petey, halligan, etc), but folks don't take it literally enough on all sides of that fact

This thread, the MTG thread, the MAGA internal war thread and now the Ukraine thread (and maybe the Venezuela thread) all seem to be coalescing around a central theme: Trump is losing the fight against being seen as a lame duck waaaay earlier than almost anyone expected and there is a fierce battle to take over MAGA that is having real world impacts on US foreign and domestic policy.

For instance:

While grandpa Trump increasingly busies himself with redecorating the White House and remaking Washington DC in his own image, making the DOJ and FBI tools of retribution for his own personal grudges, and foreign policy as self-dealing and enrichment, his potential successors are warring over where it all goes after Trump and who will take the lead.

Spot on, especially with respect to Trump being preoccupied with legacy building (ballroom, monuments, family business deals, chasing the Peace Prize and revenge). It’s created something an administrative vacuum and there’s a bunch of assholes eager to fill it.

I suspect his health is known to those close to Trump and even to trumps subconscious. I suspect his medical reports show a concerning picture for just the next couple of years and that is why we are seeing so much focus on “legacy”materialism.

There’s always been an “administrative vacuum” in both Trump administrations because Trump has not the attention span, the intelligence, nor the inclination to handle any sort of detailed work.

In his first administration, this vacuum was often filled by career government employees who refused to violate laws, rules, and norms and often frustrated Trump’s plans with their competence.

In this administration, Trump learned from his first time in the WH & only appointed loyalists to many positions and has systematically run off the experienced folks in many departments. However, this has led to a situation where a lot of the folks left have no clue as to the details of the job they’re supposed to do and they’re frustrating Trump’s plans with their incompetence.

I’m not sure it’s directly tied to Trump’s health, I think it’s more just a part of the narcissistic manchild that he is.

He’s always been exceptionally thin-skinned and worried about reputation over substance. It was completely foreseeable that he’d be far more interested in “leaving a legacy” than doing anything that might actually earn one.
