This administration hates it when people earn money legitimately.

I think it’s more that the majority of athletes who stand to significantly gain from NIL are in football and basketball…which have large percentages of African-American players.

He and his base don’t want to see black folks get money so this is an easy way to strike at a hot-button topic in a way that appeals to the racism in his base.
