I don't think Trump is a rapist or pedo for the reasons I've articulated. I think he's, at most, a crude, sometimes rude, man who occasionally groped women in his past. I'm a mainline Christian and I believe he will have to answer for those sins. I would note, we hired him as our President and Commander in Chief, not our Pope. I think he's an effective leader and Commander in Chief and I think he can be funny at times, but I don't love or worship the guy.

I admit I am willing to put up with a lot I don't personally like about Trump just to avoid the other side being in control. This Country couldn't have stood for another for years of Biden. His border policy alone was borderline treasonous and look at all the trouble it's causing to deport the 10-15M he let bum rush into the Country. Most of ya'll feel the same in reverse (and that's ok), repeatedly stating that you would rather have a diaper wearing, drooling Auto pen Biden for another 4 years than Trump.

Most of us voted for Harris and not Biden since he didn't run. Yes, either would have been better than the deranged egomaniac in office.

That's a reasonable estimate, based upon government sources, which I've set out in an earlier thread. I don't use the 20-25M because that might be on the high side.

You may believe you are a Christian, you may go to church, and you may believe in the existence of God, but no actual follower of Jesus Christ and believer of His words and teachings would hold the views you hold on immigrants, nor would they be so happily supportive of a man who is so virulently anti-Christ in every possible way (note: I am not calling Trump *the* Anti-Christ, I am saying his words and actions are antithetical to those of Christ).

So, you think that juries of his peers who were comprised of both Republicans and Democrats, Trump supports and non-Trump supporters, were wrong in their indictments of him as a civilly-liable sexual assaulter? This has been what I’ve seen in my father. I asked him at the end of 2020 when he was going to get back to his annual Colorado trip. He said that he wasn’t sure since Denver had burned down and gangs were in control now. He’d need to get a new gun before driving through there. At the time I laughed and thought he was joking.

Last year I spent some time with my folks and noticed a new behavior. When I would leave the house for an errand or walk the dog the house was locked up when I got back. The house is always locked up now. Tuesday afternoon, locked. Sunday morning, locked. They live in a cul-de-sac in a nice part of town. There hasn’t been crime there in decades.

Now I know that he has been watching Fox News several hours a day for years now. Guy is just a different person. He hasn’t left his hometown in over 6 years. He literally believes large cities have been burned down. Fox has ruined him.

I have friends with similar stories concerning their parents. I used to believe one of the worst things Fox/maga has done is the damage to relationships with loved ones. Currently I still believe it is, but what we’re about to witness with ICE in the coming months/years might easily take the mantle.

No one believes that figure. That figure has been used for about 15 years now by the left. If was the figure used on the date Biden took office so, under your analysis, no new illegals entered the country during the entire 4 years Biden was President. America concluded otherwise.

It’s not bold at all to comment on your “faith” because you are the Pharisee, the “brood of vipers” Jesus mentioned in Matthew 12:34. You are an affront to the Christian faith with your views of how other people should be treated. Did you miss Matthew 25:31-46? Did you miss the Golden Rule? Did you miss Hebrews 13:2 or James 1:27? Did you miss Mark 12:31? Did you miss Deuteronomy 10:18-19 or Leviticus 19:33-34 or Exodus 22:21 or 23:9?

Every single one of those verses in either the New Testament- you know, Jesus Christ’s words and His teachings and all that- and the Old Testament discuss loving your neighbor as yourself, welcoming the foreigner, healing the sick, clothing the naked, feeding the hungry, helping the poor, doing for the least of us. It doesn’t say anything about cheering on the harassing and deporting hard-working people, it doesn’t say anything about ridiculing LGBTQ people, it doesn’t say anything about any of the bullshit you hang your hat on. Why? Because your version of Christianity is a disgust and an affront to the Jesus Christ of the New Testament on whom the entire faith was founded. Jesus would be ashamed of you. (He’d also be ashamed of me for judging you and for ignoring the plank in my own eye, but I’m willing to take that up with Him in my own time).

Where exactly do you think your political views on “trannies” and immigrants fits into those teachings of Christ or of God? You are a Pharisee. A fake ass Christian. Own it. Dershowitz says he's seen the files as part of being involved in Epstein litigation and confirms there's nothing negative about Trump but can't speak further since he's bound by a confidentiality order.

Can we put down our partisan swords for one second to discuss the Epstein file? I'm in favor of releasing the full report but I acknowledge that there's a ton I don't know and I'm not privy to the big picture. My guess is that Trump was in favor of releasing the report otherwise there's no way Bondi announces in February that it's on her desk ready for release. Trump likes to please his base and MAGA wants to see it and is angry Trump won't release it. My guess is that Ratcliffe and the national security team convinced him that releasing the report would be harmful to the US. It's no secret that Epstein was likely working with the CIA and Mossad and the report likely has dirt on foreign leaders. Thus, it may not be in the US's interest to release sensitive material on foreign leaders. Also, there' s no question very powerful men may be implicated - Bill Gates, Clinton in particular. It may also be in the national interest not to soil the reputation of a past President. I'm not saying I agree but I can understand the argument.

Finally, don't connect any of Trump's conduct to my personal life or beliefs. If Trump or anyone groped, raped or harmed my daughter I'd kill them and accept the consequences.
