If Trump isn’t/wasn’t a pedophile, being willing to go on record many times about how much he’d like to date/have sex with his daughter when she was underage, and being willing to go on record as boasting about walking into dressing rooms full of naked teenage girls, and being so chummy with infamous pedophile Jeffrey Epstein….sure is the same kind of behavior a pedophile would exhibit. Could all be a total coincidence, I suppose.
If Trump wasn’t a rapist, he had, what, two if not three ex-wives who went on the record as saying that he forcibly/violently had sex with them against their will- not to mention several other women who were willing to go on the record that he would force himself on them/force his hands into their private areas. I guess it’s possible they were all lying or embellishing.
All I know is that if you or I had mused about banging our underage daughter, or been seen spending so much time with Jeff Epstein, or bragged about owning beauty pageants and being able to walk in on naked teen girls in the dressing room, or had so many different women (including not one but two spouses) say that we forced ourselves on them against their will…..you and I would probably be credibly accused of being pedophiles or rapists. Not sure why we are so eager to give Donald fucking Trump a pass.
I reckon it’s entirely possible that someone who expressed (and has been accused by scores of women) of pedophile-adjacent behavior and rapist-adjacent behavior, isn’t actually a pedophile or a rapist. But doggone if it doesn’t look like a whole lot of smoke for there to be no fire, and doggone if Trump must not be the unluckiest son of a bitch in the history of the entire universe to have so many people accuse him/think he’s a pedophile or a rapist.

You know, the absolute easiest way for Trump to prove that he’s not a pedophile and that he isn’t a child rapist and that he didn’t participate in Jeff Epstein’s sex trafficking and exploitation of minors, would be to….and hear me out now….wait for it…release the Epstein files that he promised to release on the campaign trail!

I'm not here to defend Trump; think he's the ultimate sleaze bag.
I'm just a little cautious about both labels. Think there is much more evidence about the rape label (which still wouldn't stick in a court of law) than there is about the pedo angle.
I do believe there is a non-zero chance that Trump had Epstein killed, which would certainly indicate a cover up....so he's not totally off the hook.

Do you find it interesting that Bongino and Patel are fighting with Bondi over the release of their the Epstein files? They obviously have seen the files and they want it released. They wouldn’t want it released if harmful to Trump. Bondi stopped the release for likely national security reasons.

Alright, I’ll bite.
If it’s “national security reasons” that are preventing the release of the Epstein files, why wouldn’t Bondi say that? Better yet, why wouldn’t her boss, the President of the United States who has never for one moment shied away from babbling about sensitive security issues on Twitter, simply say that? Why make up the hilariously pathetic lie that the files never existed in the first place, 8 weeks after saying that they were sitting on her desk?
If it’s “national security reasons” then surely the Director and Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation would understand why they can’t be released and wouldn’t be making an enormous fuss about it?
What “national security reasons” would possibly exist that should prevent the release of the names of any *American* politicians, business leaders, etc. who were involved in the sex trafficking and exploitation of minors? Further, why couldn’t those supposed “national security reasons” be simply redacted? There is no “national security reason” for us not to know whether, say, Bill Clinton or Bill Gates are featured in the files.
I’m assuming this “national security reasons” thing is the latest talking point making its way through the right wing media circles, since that’s where all of your information and opinions seem to come from, but it doesn’t pass the smell test. The President of the United States campaigned on a promise to release the files. His administration made a whole huge show a few months ago of inviting right wing media influencers to the White House for a sneak peek reveal. His Attorney General said the files were on her desk, and now she’s saying they never existed in the first place. Surely you understand why this seems extremely suspicious, yeah?
Here’s what Occam’s Razor would suggest:
1. There are prominent Democrats featured in the files, which is why the Biden administration never released them. (Awful move, by the way)
2. The current President of the United States is featured prominently in the files, which is why the Trump administration is now embroiled in a hilariously incompetent attempted cover-up.
3. It’s unlikely that whatever is in the files directly implicates anyone named as having actively participated in the act of rape of minors. It’s far more likely that the persons named in the files were proven to have visited Epstein’s Island prolifically, and therefore would invite some intense questioning of why they were there so often and what they were doing there. It’s likely that there are explicit details in the files of Epstein’s crimes, and it’s likely that there is significant circumstantial evidence that could heavily imply that people named in the files as having been participants in Epstein’s crimes.
4. The current President of the United States, being featured heavily in the files, does not want that information released because of its extremely damning implication, and thus, despite having the full authority and ability to do so, and despite campaigning on the promise to do so, has now backed down and backed his administration into a corner.
5. It’s unlikely that people like Patel, Bongino, etc. have seen the full files. If they had seen the full files, and if there were heavy implications about Trump in there, they wouldn’t be publicly battling Bondi for the release of the files. It would make no sense for them to be so angry about the files not being released if they knew that their boss was implicated in something nefarious.
