Would not have been convicted, not remotely. Number one, he's Bill Clinton. Number two, the perjury was not beyond a reasonable doubt and I don't think it was all that close.
“I tried to walk a fine line between acting lawfully and testifying falsely, but I now recognize that I did not fully accomplish that goal and that certain of my responses to questions about Ms. Lewinsky were false."

Love the justification of Clinton is less of a sexual predator. Didn’t take but 2 posts for somebody to throw that out. Also, you guys love you some impeachments. Don’t like something? Let’s impeach. A default strategy
The only one justifying anything is you. I was in junior high school when Clinton was elected and high school when he was reelected. I was ADAMANTLY opposed to him at the time and would have not voted for him had I been able to vote.

I think Trump is far more of a predator and likely is guilty of statutory rape as well as sexual assault and rape of adults. There is just too much circumstantial evidence of hisnown statements and behavior for me to believe otherwise.

Trump is an absolute cretin of a human and any attempt to minimize those traits is utterly disgusting.

Where is that quote from?

Super,

I’m not going to question your legal knowledge versus mine……you know infinitely more.

I’m expressing my opinion. Elected officials who commit crimes should be thrown under the prison. Bill Clinton committed perjury.

He did.

Throw the shithead UNDER the prison. He was POTUS, not a Clerk of Deeds or State Legislator or County Commissioner.

I’ll never defend the schmuck. He was POTUS and had “sex” depending on how one defines sex with a YOUNG intern…..at the least he’s guilty of sexual harassment……don’t care whether or not that was a criminal offense back then…..he’s guilty of sexually harassing a young women in his employ.

I voted for him in ‘92 and ‘96. Talked him up in ‘87 and ‘88 even after his ATROCIOUS keynote speech at the North Carolina Democratic State Convention in 1987 in which he’d bored the ENTIRE audience into the ground.

He committed perjury. We all know he did. He’s a pig.

I just wanted to make my position known on trump's most recent personal court ruling. I am equally as disgusted by his behavior as most of you were about clinton's long list of sexual misconduct. Whatever you felt then I feel now.

Everyone knows that Trump groped women in the past. A jury found that he did so. I'm not defending that behavior but he's far from the only politician or powerful man that has done so. I choose to take a broader view of Trump in that he's the most impactful President of the US since Reagan - maybe FDR and I agree with most of his policies. There's no evidence that he's a pedo. I will reiterate that there's a 100% certainty that the Biden Administration and/or the Deep State would have leaked ANY negative information on Trump that was in the Epstein files given the lengths taken to bring down the man. You can't make the jump from Trump groping grown women to his being a pedo. The stupid comment he made about Ivanka on Stern years ago is more reflective of the fact that Trump has a big mouth, liked to please Stern as a frequent guest and has NO FILTER vs. evidence of his being a pedo.

Dershowitz says he's seen the files as part of being involved in Epstein litigation and confirms there's nothing negative about Trump but can't speak further since he's bound by a confidentiality order.

Can we put down our partisan swords for one second to discuss the Epstein file? I'm in favor of releasing the full report but I acknowledge that there's a ton I don't know and I'm not privy to the big picture. My guess is that Trump was in favor of releasing the report otherwise there's no way Bondi announces in February that it's on her desk ready for release. Trump likes to please his base and MAGA wants to see it and is angry Trump won't release it. My guess is that Ratcliffe and the national security team convinced him that releasing the report would be harmful to the US. It's no secret that Epstein was likely working with the CIA and Mossad and the report likely has dirt on foreign leaders. Thus, it may not be in the US's interest to release sensitive material on foreign leaders. Also, there' s no question very powerful men may be implicated - Bill Gates, Clinton in particular. It may also be in the national interest not to soil the reputation of a past President. I'm not saying I agree but I can understand the argument.

Finally, don't connect any of Trump's conduct to my personal life or beliefs. If Trump or anyone groped, raped or harmed my daughter I'd kill them and accept the consequences.
You’re both freaking lunatics. I’m done with being force fed your un-American and morally bankrupt drivel. You’ve been given plenty of runway here on this board, and you’ve chosen willful ignorance every step of the way. You’re not here for any sort of good-faith debate. It’s clear that your only goal is to antagonize anyone who doesn’t share your warped worldviews and spread misinformation on behalf of your cult. You can fuck right off with that. I will not be forced to entertain your nonsense any longer. #superignore
