Since this omnibus thread seems so broad (maybe too much an overreaction to having too many similar but overlapping threads) that it is suffering a lot of cross-talk on various subjects, I’ve repurposed another older DOGE thread as a DOGE catch-all and will leave this one as a general Trump Admin catch-all.

Does Ben Shapiro know Presidents don’t have the power to pardon state convictions? Does Elon?

Trump can pardon Chauvin’s convictions for violating George Floyd’s civil rights and his conviction in a separate 2017 case (violated the civil rights of a 14 year-old boy by choking and beating him with a flashlight and kneeling heavily on his upper back while he was handcuffed leading to the boy becoming unconscious).

Chauvin is also serving a state sentence for tax evasion.
