The Heritage Foundation and its Project 2025 will exist after Trump and Musk are gone.

Plenty of Techbroligarchs to replace Musk. Peter Thiel, Marc Andreesen, and others will happily take over.

From my perspective, few on this board are more pessimistic about the US than me. I'm not sanguine about what happens when Musk and ttump flame out. Fascism will likely need near constant opposition for the remainder of my life.
 
The Prime Minister’s Office has announced that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will now be responding to U.S. tariffs on Canada, at 8:30 p.m. EST.

I worry that Trump and Musk, the Techbroligarchs, and the Heritage Foundation will so break the US government that the US economy and the world economy will go into a severe depression.

As a result, the US will turn to a dictator to “fix it.”

The problem is that all problems today will be blamed on the Deep State, bureaucrats, DEI, etc. We don’t have a media that will expose Trump and the Techbroligarchs; what we’ll hear is “leftists, Liberals, Marxists, etc.” Our media will cower.

Twitter/X and Truth Social will be how the US government communicates.

Trump, Heritage, and Musk will eliminate the professional career staffers.

It will turn into a shit show, Canada will agree to some marginal change that is irrelevant to how the countries interact, ala sending deportees on military planes instead of civilian ones, and the MAGA idiots like ramrouser and calla will pleasure themselves while they bleat about how Trump owned them Canucks!
