Smaller Federal Government through massive DOGE cuts;
This includes substantially reduced federal workforce due to imposition of mandatory 5 day in person workforce attendance;
Reduced spending;
Lower energy costs due to greater energy production;
TARGETED tariffs to booster American manufacturing; leads to
Lower interest rates.

That’s a start. Sit back a watch it happen.
Fella, do you understand that Donald Trump put Vikek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk in charge of a totally made-up, non-governmental, totally fake "agency" and told them to essentially write the equivalent of a grade school book report? Like, this whole DOGE thing is basically Trump granting a Make-A-Wish. The fact that you think that there will be any "massive DOGE cuts" makes everyone else on this board completely unable to take anything you post seriously ever again.

Both UNC and Mercer are going to lose their accreditations if you keep posting nonsense like that!

By the way, 538 is a polling aggregator. Do you know what "aggregator" means? Not being snarky, I'm serious.
Oh you looked me up. Guess superific is WRONG about me not being an attorney. Did you notify him?

Aggregate includes clearly Dem bought and paid for media polls like Morning Consult and the infamous Iowa poll. Garbage in garbage out.

Buddy, you didn't exactly make it difficult, now did you? Like, I didn't have to summon Scooby Doo and the whole Mystery Machine gang to figure it out or anything.

And it's hilarious that NOW you think that the polling is "garbage in garbage out" because it doesn't tell you what you want it to tell you. Consistency is all I ever ask for.

What legislation created DOGE or authorized Anna Goldberg, et al. it to cut anything? How does DOGE work? Is it similar to the line item veto - Trump just crosses it off the budget list and that’s aG of “lying” about theirJoh;ve joined the wrong team life experiences so it’s good to know you know I’ve been honest.

Didn’t say I made it difficult but you have a habit of accusing conservatives of “lying” about their life experiences so you now know I’m truthfull.

You’ve joined the wrong team and, I sense, you know it. See, e.g. Bill Kristol, Rick Wilson, Johanna Goldberg, et al. MAGA has all the momentum and is winning popular culture. Next year is going to be fun. Peace

What in the world are you talking about? I have literally never once accused any conservative here of lying about their life experience. If you are referring to my specific questioning of the authenticity of another specific poster's claims about their family, you do not understand the context of my previous exchanges with that poster. Otherwise, no, I have never accused any poster here- conservative or liberal- of lying about their lived experience.

I have absolutely not joined the wrong team. I think that is your own insecurity that you are projecting onto me. I'm as happy and as comfortable as I can possibly be with my political choices, for several reasons:

1. there is absolutely nothing in politics, and certainly no politician, who has the power and ability to steal my joy and optimism and general enjoyment of my life;
2. I like being on the team that the Nazis, fascists, Russians, and Confederates *aren't* on;
3. I think that in the long run, progress and equality win out (your old ass boomer generation has a lot more yesterdays than tomorrows!);
4. I don't really ultimately care whether my political "team" wins or loses as long as this country that I love and my fellow countrymen and women are safe, secure, prospering, and thriving- doesn't matter one bit to me whether it's under a Republican administration or a Democratic administration.

That's why I've said many times on this board over the last 2 weeks that I don't only love my country when my preferred candidate wins an election, and I am sincerely cheering hard for President Trump to succeed and for me to have to eat a whole lot of delicious crow.

Hope that helps!

"Winning the popular culture?" LOL. Conservatives have been losing the culture wars for a half-century, and one very narrow election win isn't going to change that. Go ahead and pass a national abortion ban and go after LGBTQ people and try to start rolling back all of the social and cultural gains made by minorities and society in general since the 1960s and see what happens. I don't think you or your party will like the results in future elections, but good luck trying.

You don’t think I;m happy O ==IsOwWhat??!?! Liberal friends W in the world are you talking= you, you bizarre weird old man? I have literally never once accused any conservative here of lying about their life =

Good to know you’ll enjoy eating crow? It will happen.

Weird? Who are you Tim Walz? I’ve lived in Buckhead for 30+ years; have vacation homes; have the same beautiful wife for 30+ years with 2 insanely successful adult children so you don’t think I’m happy and enjoying life. Ha! What’s your story Mr internet tough guy? You and your new liberal friends seem miserable to me. It’s a given fact that conservatives, on balance, are happier than libs.

You definitely joined the losing team.

#Trumpdance. It’s a thing.

Quite genuinely the type of appointments that might make Margaret Atwood say "I think you may have overwritten it."

The disappearance of maga from this board in about 6-9 months, as all the worst impulses of idiots and violence of zealots is unleashed across this country, is like predicting the Texas summer will be hot. For those maga that remain, I won't be surprised if they're openly threatening violence.

Oh yeah, you definitely seem very happy!! Totally. I definitely believe you. You've got me totally convinced that you're so happy since you wrote it on the internet. You definitely aren't feeling some sort of weird bizarre insecurity where you're needing to convince all of us that you are so happy and we are so miserable.

You know what makes me very happy? You've been practicing law for a lot longer than I've been alive, which means that Good Lord willing, I'm going to be here for a whooooooole hell of a lot longer than you are, and I have all of the confidence in the world that our great country has a fantastic future ahead of us, especially once folks like you are eating pudding and slurping ice chips in your nursing home!
