You vote with your feelings instead of logic.

Anyone who has been suckered in by Trump really has no business telling anyone else about "logic"

We've got an old 80 something man with arthritic knees and type 2 diabetes who has been selling Trump flags on our streetcorner (I live in a very, very small town) for the last 4 years...every Sunday some rain or come shine. Poor schlub thinks Donald is some kind of messiah figure who will save America from the modern world. He's not operating by any kind of logic - nor were the Q nitwits and "plandemic" putzes who made up 1/3 of MAGA - their thought process are driven by emotions, primarily anger, fear and disgust. That's what Fox and RWM fill up with every single night....it's the dopamine hit they know their viewers need. MAGA is disconnected from logic and reality, and that's what makes them so weird, and so pathetic. Every time Kamala Harris sneezes gun sales go up 150%.

Here is my logic and reason for voting for Kamala Harris.

I like voting for presidential candidates that are not convicted felons. I believe in the rule of law and law and order.

I like voting for presidential candidates who advocate for fixing our broken immigration system and beefing up our border security. Harris has said that she will sign the comprehensive sweeping immigration reform and border security bill that was initially created by Republicans and also blocked by Republicans, the moment it hits her desk.

I like voting for presidential candidates who don’t deep throat foreign dictators in front of the entire world.

I like voting for presidential candidates who don’t openly muse about fucking their daughter.

I like voting for presidential candidates who believe in classically conservative principles like freedom and liberty and keeping the government the fuck out of people’s vaginas, bedrooms, medical exam rooms, etc.

I like voting for presidential candidates who have a demonstrable history of prosecuting criminals and putting them behind bars- in particular sex offenders - where they belong.

I like voting for presidential candidates who show honor and reverence toward the men and women who bravely put their lives on the line, or even sacrifice their lives, in defense of the United States of America abroad. I don’t like voting for presidential candidates who call them suckers and losers.

I like voting for presidential candidates who haven’t failed spectacularly at every single venture in which they’ve ever undertaken in their life. I like voting for presidential candidates who don’t get bankrupted running a casino.

Above all else, I like voting for presidential candidates that don’t have to wear adult diapers because they shit themselves like toddlers. We don’t need a president who needs a diaper change in the Situation Room while trying to figure out how to respond to Chinese, Russian, or Iranian aggression abroad.

Logic would dictate that Donald Trump has never once uttered any promise based in reality or fact. Not in his personal life, not in his professional life, and not in his political life. Everything and anything he ever says is based on his read of what gets the reaction he wants in the moment. Any eventual occurrence that aligns with his promises is mere circumstance.

So whatever it is that you think you might use in motivating your support of Donald Trump, it most certainly is not logic.
Seriously. He doesn't even care one whit about legally binding promises in contracts he has made.

I guess you’ve changed your opinion over the past four years, eh?

In Asheville, Trump is speaking in Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, the side room at Hannah’s Convention Center. There’s a larger room that can hold 3-4x the number of people, but it must have had other plans.

But hey, let's be positive. He paid the entire bill upfront, so at least he won't run off and leave the bill outstanding.

From supporting/voting for Trump like I did in 2016? Yeah, you can bet your bottom dollar that I absolutely sure as hell have changed my opinion since then. Part of it was seeing firsthand what a spectacular disaster the Trump presidency was for American influence abroad, and then the other part was living through the last four years of the Biden administration and enjoying the hell out of having a president that reestablished the United States as the global leader and defender of democracy, while domestically presiding over a booming economy, incredible prosperity, lowering crime, low unemployment, reduced illegal border crossings, historic investment in infrastructure in rural and underserved communities across the country, etc.

2024 - 4 = 2020

I didn’t read the rest of that. I figure it’s the same as your first hundred poasts today. And yesterday. And the day before.
