I don’t have to agree with our elected officials politically by any means, but I do want to be able to believe that they are ethically and morally upstanding and will do a job to the best of their ability with the intention of protecting and upholding everything that makes our country great. DeSantis checks all of those boxes.

I don’t think DeSantis is remotely ethical or moral enough to take a principled stand, but he is very ambitious and smart enough to avoid the obvious traps that could derail his long term plans. I’ll settle for that.
 
Sadly, some serious pain will be needed by many across the country for them to wake the hell up to the lies they have been told.

If he gets DeSantis, MAGA becomes MAFIA.

My mom just put in her notice to retire at 63. She’s planning on buying a health insurance policy on the exchange to bridge to Medicare. Loves Trump. Don’t have the heart to tell her those policies might not be around much longer, and they’ll be way more expensive if they are.

President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday said he will nominate former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission member Paul Atkins to lead the agency next year, highlighting the former commissioner's work in favor of the digital asset industry in a social media post announcing the nomination.

Trump made the announcement on Truth Social, ending weeks of speculation over whom the incoming Republican president would tap to replace outgoing SEC Chair Gary Gensler.

Atkins was a Republican commissioner at the SEC from 2002 to 2008 and currently serves as chief executive at the consulting firm Patomak Global Partners. The Vanderbilt Law School-trained lawyer also works alongside crypto lobbying organization the Digital Chamber, a fact that Trump highlighted in his announcement.

And, suggest she hold off on retiring until she’s eligible for Medicare.
