The press had such a double standard of coverage that they had a really tough job getting any coverage from the media.Biden's team did a terrible job of shaping the narrative of his achievements.
I posted this Tytler Cycle illustration a while back, but to your point, it's relevant:So we know the Congress and the courts will not protect us from the establishment of a fascist "government", and now we have further evidence that the free press 4th estate will not stand in the way.
Our democracy has had a good run. I think our democratic republic has the longest run of Constitutional republics in history...236 years.
I guess it had to end sometime...
Biden being the most important member of that team.Biden's team did a terrible job of shaping the narrative of his achievements.
So I'd like to clarify something...you purport to be an attorney at a prominent law firm. Yet, you espouse settlement agreements as "saying" something? Have you never in your career had a client pay a settlement to simply make something go away rather than fight what would ultimately prove to be a likely winning argument?15M settlement says otherwise. No one thinks Trump “raped” Carroll.
My understanding is this happens all the time as it is cheaper to settle than to go to court, fight, and win.So I'd like to clarify something...you purport to be an attorney at a prominent law firm. Think of all the terrible, ineffective, unethical, morally bereft lawyers you’ve encountered in your life and Ramrouser will be much easier to understand. So I'd like to clarify something...you purport to be an attorney at a prominent law firm. Whenever I see the ambulance chasing attorneys on TV, I think someone had to be last in their class.Think of all the terrible, ineffective, unethical, morally bereft lawyers you’ve encountered in your life and Ramrouser will be much easier to understand.
It's nothing to do with schooling, and ambulance chasers at least nominally work to help someone who has been wronged.Whenever I see the ambulance chasing attorneys on TV, I think someone had to be last in their class.
I believe that is a mistake which is made by many Democrats. Trump had the biggest gains among people of color for a Republican president in decades. It's basically. That is not the results of mega just blindly voting Republican. You underestimate the MAGA cult's idolization of Trump.
It's not a mistake to say that many of Trump's followers show many of the classic traits of a cult. And while Trump made gains among minorities, the vast majority of his votes still come from white, Evangelical, very socially and culturally conservative rural and suburban people.I believe that is a mistake which is made by many Democrats. After all the votes were in, just how large were those gains? While you're checking, see what the movement with white college educated people was. Neither might not show what the first returns did but they seem like they canceled each other out to an extent.I believe that is a mistake which is made by many Democrats. Yes but 15M + attorney’s fees + public apology is not a nuisance value settlement. ABC’s attorneys knew their client faced major exposure for George’s defamatory statement; hence, the substantial settlement. So I'd like to clarify something...you purport to be an attorney at a prominent law firm. "Substantial settlement" JFCYes but 15M + attorney’s fees + public apology is not a nuisance value settlement. ABC’s attorneys knew their client faced major exposure for George’s defamatory statement; hence, the substantial settlement.
That's exactly what it is to ABC. That would be like me settling a case out of court for 50 dollars.Yes but 15M + attorney’s fees + public apology is not a nuisance value settlement. There is definitely a cult following among some Trump supporters. You can usually spot them with their ridiculous flags and hats. However, I think a significant portion of the Democratic Party, and I'm stealing a term from silence of the lambs, wants to paint anyone who voted for Trump as a rube. It's not a mistake to say that many of Trump's followers show many of the classic traits of a cult. And while Trump made gains among minorities, the vast majority of his votes still come from white, Evangelical, very socially and culturally conservative rural and suburban people.
Damaging it for whom? The Trumpista morons who already don't trust mainstream media? Big fucking deal.I’s not just the money. You’re severely damaging the reputation of one of your top news anchors by acknowledging liability. It was not even a confidential settlement. The Trump team likely insisted it be public.
George likely loses his Sunday show over this.
