He's not completely wrong . It took a couple of years to repair the damage Trump did before, during and after Covid. After he lost the election, for that matter.

Still better than any of the other major countries did.

Inflation and cost of living was the number 1 reason the dems lost the election. If you are saying they were focused on the high cost of living during the last 4 years then they failed spectacularly in the eyes of the public. Of course, that has been pointed out all throughout the media, even dem media. So, the trends and current numbers I'm opining on are election results. Homework's done.
 
“Failed in the eyes of the public,” is what one says when one knows the facts say otherwise.

I do think the dems failed at messaging on the economy for the last election.

I literally do laugh a people who get bent out of shape over taking trump seriously on stuff like greenland or the canal. I can't believe you elites don't understand he couldn't do it. I still blame drunk ass Ted Turner 6/1/1980 for the end of media as a source of information and transitioning to 100% soap selling. Once media found scary news sells adds and combined that with fear mongering talking heads....here we are.

Didn't know he was in bad health but he turned the evening news into 24/7 fear mongering advertising. Also basically resurrected "wrasslin" from local to "world wide"

William Randolph Hearst and Joseph Pulitzer excelled at using yellow journalism in the 1890’s. They didn’t invent it; they did use it. The papers from Jefferson’s time could certainly be called yellow journalism.

If Ted Turner didn’t create 24/7 television news, Roger Ailes would have.
