No, I'm a contracting officer for the DOD who deals specifically with these kinds of Navy contracts and I can tell you for a fact that we don't have a sub class either current or in future production with the actual name or code name "Tiger Shark"

This is just him hearing about some dorky call of duty name from one of his idiot advisors and using it to sound awesome. Or he totally fucked up and was talking about our Seawolf class subs.

Now, could that change because of this BS? Yeah, because, as we've see before, boats and boat classes can be changed unilaterally by the SecDef (I refuse to call him SecWar) but as of this tweet and post, we don't.

Currently we have Virginia, Ohio, Los Angeles & Seawolf sub classes with the Columbia class in production. Virginia are the newest and are replacing/replaced the Los Angeles as our attack subs. The Columbia are replacing the Ohio as our nuclear ballistic subs and the Seawolf are super small, very maneuverable, ultra silent, but armed up the ass subs and those contracts are through 2040.

I think if the media reports that the ships are moving through the strait, most people will either think the US is winning or not really care if the US is winning. I don't think most Americans really believe Trump's claims about 3 dozen ships moving through the straits. I don't unless he means something like small fishing boats or US military ships or the ships Iran allowed through after paying a toll before Trump started his blockade.

I don't think many people care about Iran having enriched uranium outside of Jerusalem.
