I'm wondering if, when it comes to legal challenges, claiming victory etc -- is the spirit willing but the flesh weak? Does he look like he has enough energy to keep going after Election Day? Does he have the stamina for more and more bullshit and vigilance?

The main problem he has is that he does not control the levers of power. That was his secret recipe last time. He spent all of November and December 2020 plotting his coup, replacing the "disloyal" agency heads with the stooges who would have supported him had Pence gone along with the plan. This time around, he has nothing.

His one hope is the house not ratifying for whatever reason, but if the House refused to ratify and then tried to use the 12th, I would expect Biden not to recognize the bullshit.
