We're in a big pile of sh** and we have almost 3 1/2 years to go. Day to day, nobody knows what our Dear Leader's next brain fart will be. Maybe he'll sleepwalk and fall the roof.

This does feel like the last stand of the house MAGAs. The tide has clearly turned. They can hold on to old numbers for now, but even they know the future is brutal. They’ll never admit it, but they know it. And it’s 100% because of Trump.

If they want to go down the path of "defrauding the American people" it will boomerang. I would love to put that fat motherfucker's ass in jail and what he just said is more illegal than what he accused HRC of.

I can’t wait until all these bullshit accusations are dropped and fade away and the press provides a full accounting of the bullshit … right?

Bondi has a tough job. This stuff keeps getting crazier and crazier. She has to hold it together as the Department circles the bowl, be a good soldier, and take the heat.
Wonder what's happening these days with those pesky Epstein files?

The two emails they released say they relate to Russia hacking of DNC and a combined report to then President Obama about that — and have no mention or apparent relationship to any investigation of Trump or his involvement … Rogers primary concern is about having time to complete a thorough enough review to reach confidence in their assessments on the tight timeframe for submitting the report to Obama. It sounds like Rogers was trying to weasel out of NSA signing onto the report and Clapper was like nah, we are stuck with the timeline and may have to “compromise on our ‘normal’ modalities” given available time to all sign onto the report. Rogers is pressing for more time and direct comments on the final product and being told there is no more time and get as much down as you can to get on board for a classified report to POTUS [obvious context so POTUS has time to digest and respond to it before his term ends].

FLASHBACK 2016

President Obama calls for intel report on Russian hacking

The request is making headlines just days after lawmakers in both the House and Senate announced plans this week to launch similar probes into the 2016 election.

October 2017:

Facing a Russian Cyber Attack, Obama Officials Struggled To Respond

“… In December, the president ordered the expulsion of 35 suspected Russian intelligence operatives from the United States and sanctions on Russian intelligence services. The following month, the intelligence community released a declassified report concluding that Putin had ordered “an influence campaign” designed to “undermine public faith in the U.S. democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency.”

Clapper said he considered those actions as just a first step.

“One of the reasons why President Obama tasked us to do our assessment, and to have it out before the end of his term, was he wanted to be able to hand that over to not only the Congress, but to the next administration, as a basis for further action,” he said.

Under pressure from Congress, Trump signed a law in August that would implement sanctions on Russia for meddling in the election. The law would sanction individuals that engage in significant business with Russia’s defense and intelligence sectors. But the administration missed its Oct 1. deadline to implement the sanctions and only at the end of October did it send Congress a list of Russia-connected entities to help determine sanctions.…”
