That you would think all is well and no action needed because dc crime statistics fell to a level that is still among the highest in the country shows zero perspective. Based on your logic, a team could win 1 game for 49 straight years, then in the 50th year win 2 games and that is proof that the coach shouldn't be fired. DC is a shit hole and crime ridden to any objective person not consumed with trump hatred. As are detroit, memphis, baltimore, etc. He can't as easily address the crime problems in those cities as he can in dc. As for why now instead of his first term, who knows. Write him a letter and ask him yourself. That only matters to people who have had their brains eaten by trump. What really rubs your ass raw is that he will likely be successful like he was at the border, will get a public perception win, and it will further solidify the dim party as weak on crime. You acting all ass hurt as if his motivation isn't pure is extremely naive. It's trump. his motivation is never pure but it is both politically smart as it keeps the press off his back, and rubs salt in the open wound the dims have with being soft on crime. He is owning people like you right now.

Trump was a Democrat most of his adult life. He donated to HRC's Senatorial campaign.

He's the opposite of a conservative - he's a fake. You mean a DUMBa$$ "conservative" board.

I have them all the time and i dont hide anywhere. My identity is well known and I express myself regularly to people of all political stripes. I participate here because of the UNC tie to the board, not because it's liberal or even because it's political.

He’s a successful entrepreneur and business owner (he donated enough to the Rams Club to get good football, basketball, and baseball tickets).

Sounds to me like trump has little patience for george floyd type "demonstrations" where people's property and businesses get destroyed by paid protesters and those to dumb to understand what the "protest" is about. Bet he wouldn't interfere with a peaceful protest conducted legally. Not sure you guys grasp that concept though.

You still haven't rebutted a single statistic I've posted and you can't answer why your hero who is "owning" everybody didn't think of this in his first term when violent crime in DC was worse. As has been pointed out by other posters, the most high-crime places in the USA are often in red states, and often aren't the largest cities. So why isn't Dear Leader deploying the troops in these violent areas? Because they're MAGA Country, that's why. As for your expectations...I honestly don't think you can be serious with that. How could I possibly only use our direct interactions as a basis for how I interpret you and your beliefs? It's a message board designed for open crosstalk. We all use the overall body of work of posters as a lens through which to view that person.

you claimed all my posts were partisan pissing matches. I don't have partisan pissing matches with people who are polite and open minded. So if in addressing me you aren't engaging in that type of discourse, I'm obliged to treat you equally in any conversation we have. There are examples on the board with some posters where that type of discussion occurs. You base it on a body of work, I base it on how someone engages me and their sincerity in having a constructive discussion. Its an anonymous message board. You really can't go by anything other than direct interaction.
