Any "truce" between those two is never going to last for long, just like their recent collaboration quickly fell apart. They're both far too spoiled, juvenile, egotistical, and narcissistic to ever get along for more than a brief period, even if their interests align. They both want to hog the spotlight and be the center of attention, and in Trumpworld only one person gets to wear the crown, not two. Cult leaders don't share power or control. They might appear in public to make up, but it will only be temporary and in private they probably both hate each other's guts now and see the other as a threat, if they didn't already.

They are just waiting for their Lord and savior Trump to deny it publicly and they will be out in full force defending him.
