We don't necessarily win. It depends how much more they try to fuck up while beefing. Both of them are going to come out damaged but I don't have a clue about who wins other than us.

And who they (and specifically Musk) next turn to in the search for "like minded" allies. We don't necessarily win. It depends how much more they try to fuck up while beefing.
Agree. I hope this isn't like an old Japanese Godzilla movie where two giant monsters fight and all of the buildings around them are destroyed as collateral damage. We don't necessarily win. It depends how much more they try to fuck up while beefing.
What a dumb take.Get ready everybody. Nobody knows how far we can go in debt before we hit the wall, but I am about 100% convinced that we are going to find out. Spend, spend, spend. Open up borders and allow in millions of additional people who need government support. No strong requirements forced on the current and perpetual abusers of our current social services system. Blow money all around the world that does nothing to actually help America.
If accurate history is written, the people who have been in control of this country for the last 65 years will be some of the most hated people for what they were handed and what the chose to do with it.
Awfully presumptuous to assume that we will actually win in all this. Both of them are going to come out damaged but I don't have a clue about who wins other than us.
I don't discount how dangerous Musk is, to the entire world. What you shouldn't discount is the immense amount of domestic political power Trump wields, plus the immense amount of actual power he currently wields by commanding the US government and military.I don't. Elon Musk just spent 6 months downloading shit about everyone in the country, runs one of the most powerful propaganda machines in Twitter, has a sizeable foot in iterative AI, and Starlink owns 62% of all satellites currently in orbit. People discount how dangerous he is at their own peril.
When I said that, I was assuming less damage in division than unity and at least some damage to their reputation. That would be a small win and these days, I'll take anything.Awfully presumptuous to assume that we will actually win in all this.
Yeah I mean that's a big part of the "Teflon Don" thing - what can Musk reveal about Trump that Trump won't immediately spin/deny with his supporters merrily following suit? Musk could reveal security footage of Trump banging Epstein in his cell then strangling Epstein himself along with 18 signed affidavits that the footage is real and Trump would say "it's fake" and nothing would happen. When I said that, I was assuming less damage in division than unity and at least some damage to their reputation. That would be a small win and these days, I'll take anything.
Otoh, they have cults instead of supporters so reputation doesn't matter and them working together is like plowing with a mule and an ox, so you all are right. This is a toss up. Who's got the popcorn?
The only way we all win is if Trump dies of a massive stroke/heart attack after hearing that Musk died of an overdose.Awfully presumptuous to assume that we will actually win in all this.
Nobody loves that truck. Are conservatives back to hating Teslas and liberals back to loving them yet?
