TV Streaming series to talk about.

So, I stumbled across this series named "Good Sex", at first I figured it was a documentary about @superrific ... (Just kidding).

So, it's about a sex therapist and her practice.

It does make sense as most of us, I believe, never really discuss what feels good or what we want, it's just trial and error.

Which isn't the best way to learn, especially if you are with someone that never really seems interested....

Maybe Super was onto something in taking the time to learn and become better.

Seems like an interesting series, I'll give it a few episodes and report back.

Hell, who knows, maybe someday I'll have sex again and be better for having watched and learned.

Just watched it for the first time. I was always aware of it, of course, and had seen a few snippets here and there (just like Sopranos and The Wire, neither of which I have yet watched, but will), but sitting down and plowing thru the whole series in a couple of weeks was just mind-blowing. Whole lotta levels to that show. Can't wait to rewatch it. I was chatting with Gemini AI the whole time I was watching, getting details on various aspects. That kind of thing has been my main interaction with AI and I gotta say, it adds a lot.

Moved on to Deadwood now. It's shorter (3 seasons), but I'm digging it. As a fan of Blood Meridian, I can see lots of parallels and that adds to the fun. Gemini is also proving a helpful and insightful watching partner...
I loved Deadwood

I just watched the episode where Swearengen passed his gall stone with Doc's help. He'd been complaining about his piss for awhile and the leadup earlier when the whore routed his anus with her thumb was funny, but when Doc had to stick the metal up his dick and the whole camp heard his screams... Damn...

Started watching Young Sherlock on Prime and have been pleasantly impressed! He and Moriorty are like best buddies and Sherlock is an asshole rebellious dude. On the second episode but hats off to the writers director and actors. So hard to make an old story relevant again and yet they are pulling it off!

ETA pretty relevant for what we are doing and likely future vengeful retaliation.

I agree that talking openly about sex with your partner(s) and discussing likes, dislikes, kinks, and tastes Is always a good thing. And maybe I took it as a given that the majority of folks knew this was a key part that of a healthy relationship.

In the US, I would be surprised if a majority know/do this.

Watching Shrinking and the end of episode 7 Gaby gets a call telling her that her depressed patient has killed herself....

They had to end on that????

Glad I don’t watch that show because that’s a pretty brutal spoiler!
Sorry. It's just set as such a funny show and it shocked me, the way they did it. Plus suicide is a tough topic for me from personal experience.

Really enjoyed A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Somewhat mythical in tone of presentation, yet with good period realism and no actual fantasy elements, the story, acting and visuals are all superb. Set for a second season, and I'm in.

Well done. Hats off to whoever made the call to not take themselves so seriously. A very nice change from that unwatchable Dragon spin off. Well cast as well.

Also, the audio book of the original three novellas is "free" on Spottily premium. Voice acting is great (spoilers though, if you plan on watching the later seasons of the show, I think). Nice job of voice acting in the audio book.

Have watched the first five episodes of Jury Duty: Company Retreat. Enjoying it so far with several hilarious moments. Loved the first season from a couple of years ago. Final 3 episodes for the new series drop this Friday.
