Just in time for a Democratic POTUS to take over and get blamed for everything, even as they manage to turn things around later in their term and get the economy growing again after the GOP fucked it up. Same as always.

It hasn't been true of any tax cut since possibly 1961 when the top marginal rate came down from 90% to 70%.

The best economic estimates are that tax cuts pay for themselves only at tax rates around 70%.

To be fair, Collins has been in the Senate for almost 20 years longer than Tillis. So I would also be surprised if she left voluntarily.
