My instinct is this is the right approach. Trump and the GOP have showed their asses on the refusal to cover healthcare and killed a chance to use this leverage to get anything. Get what you can and hammer them for their priorities.
Counterpoint (I am clearly in the minority on the Dem side about this proposed deal):

Democrats just don't have the tolerance for human suffering that Pubs do and Pubs know this. Dems held out for longer than Pubs expected but looks like they're going to capitulate now with essentially nothing in return.

Tuesday Morning Sigh GIF by The Secret Life Of Pets

Same old Schumer BS . . if, we cave now, you can kiss the ACA goodbye.
Schumer has got to f*cking go . . everything we won on Tuesday flies right out the door.
It's so disgusting . . !

Every Democrat who votes for this needs to be primaried.
The really infuriating thing is that when normal folks look at their ACA premiums, they won't associate the huge increase with the MAGAts, they'll only remember the Democrats caving and getting absolutely nothing in return and the cycle of cutting of the nose to spite the face will continue. If they are truly going to cave on a promise of a vote they are even more insanely out of touch than I thought and we are officially screwed.

If this truly does come to pass, I am out of fucks to give anymore. The only way to stop a bully is to stand up to them and hold your ground. Chuck should've learned his lesson the last time this happened, and I was filled with a little bit of hope this time but my desire to give a shit is starting to bottom out if my elected officials don't give a shit about me or the rest of America. We can all bitch and moan about primarying these ass hats but that will be too little and WAY too late. The base has been fired up since election day wanting our elected officials to stand up and fight back. We finally have a message and idea we can coalesce around and they can't stomach the fight. My biggest fear is that if this is indeed true, all of the gains we saw in VA, NJ, and here in Ga will be wiped out and the base will just give up. I can't blame them.
