It was an admission of what a giant cut to Medicaid would cause, and a cynical ploy to get votes.

It also was not nearly enough money obviously, which is why we have seen the predicted closures - with providers explicitly blaming the Republican bill.

But now it's unrelated to the trillion in health care cuts, a and just a way to address Biden era policies. Total bullshit, which he knows.
