Russia committed, and is still committing, war crimes by invading Ukraine. There are international sanctions against them selling their oil. Was this one carrying Russian oil, or just Venezuelan?

I'm not sure. There's a lot to this story, it seems. I've heard the Venezuela is violating international law with how it's handling oil, as it relates to Cuba, Iran and possibly China.

So, if the US is legally justified in taking the tanker, is it ok to take the property that is the focus of the crime?
